This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I had made an apppint for 7:00, for me and a friend... I arrived early and they would not let me wait for her.... my crappy pedi was done by 6:45 and she never even polished my toes, because she said the polish I chose, which I use everywhere I go “wouldn’t look good on me.” I usually paint my toes white but I guess she thought that wouldn’t look good on brown skin. Intact it seemed pretty apparent to me she had a problem with brown skin in general. I asked to speak to the manager and she was completely unapologetic... and charged me full price even though I stopped the service after she did a terrible rush job and insulted me. This is definitely my go to nail salon. Very convenient hours and great location. The atmosphere is relaxing and feels very upscale. Malen is the best! She does the powder dip nails for me and they always look great and she comes up with amazing designs to do with the powder. I get so many compliments on my nails. The pedicures are so relaxing with several different options and price points. Also love that they have the waxing services available. Read Less

My daughter gets ingrown toenails regularly, and Wennie has really helped her a great deal. It is so much better for her to get regular pedicures than to constantly be going to the podiatrist for toenail removals. Read Less

Iv been going New York nails 4 over 3 years, VERY friendly staff and ALWAYS do a good job I love my nails, the shape n colour is always perfect... Holly, Sam, Tony , Ryan, Kelsea, Amy r the best... I also d joy and have every now and again a pedicure from Kelsea such is very relaxing and she always does a fab job n I have pretty toes Definitely recommend New York Nails... see you all next weekRead Less

I have been all over to get my nails done because I'm fussy I want the most blingy wow nails and have always been disappointed about something like crap nail art or not doing the nails like the picture but my mate comes here every time and hers looked amazing so I ventured to Wakefield as I'm from Barnsley and I have had bloody amazing nails every time and the comments I get from everyone is Lovley so if you look at the pictures on here there all done exactly as long as you want them my last pair lasted me over 6 weeks and had to have them done again as they were so long showing the growth and am needed me holiday nails X Read Less

It's nice, clean and the painting on the walls and ceilings make it so relaxing. They have two restrooms that are always clean. I make appointments but I have never seen anyone wait long. They have different styles of nails you can chose from and the prices are reasonable. I can't express enough on how clean it is and they offer you drinks. Everyone is nice. Love this place. I know places like this get a bad rep but honestly this is the best place ive ever been for my nails doing! staff are excellent and so talented, nails are always healthy when I get my acrylics taken off. never been disappointed- always amazing! thank you new York nails! Read Less
