I love my monthly visits to Shine Nail bar. The staff are friendly and welcoming and my nails are always beautiful. They have a great range of colours and the staff are very talented and create some beautiful designs. It's a great place with a lovely atmosphere. Horrible Attitude! Only go if you want SIMPLE nail paint. I wish I could tell you that I had an amazing experience, I did not... I made a note at the time of booking, saying that I have gel EXTENSIONS. Then when I came to my appointment with Cristina she got extremely annoyed that I had gel. She said they don't work with gel and work with acril. I said that thats fine I don't mind having acrilic nails. Then the dreadfull part started... she started filing my nails, looked extremely annoyed and kept filing my skin. I told her that it hurts and she said "well then there is nothing I can do" I felt so utterly guilty for saying anything, but I was already almost crying and feeling bad that I came there with my horrible gel nails. She then cut off the ends if my nails and kept filing with a nail file to get them thinner. She got so frustrated, that she leaned back and as she leaned in she poked my nail backwards and snapped it... there was blood and tears... I used my own plaster and left that place crying. I understand that accidents happen but the rudness of that woman was not appreciated and I felt guilty... I don't understand why she could not say 'we can't do it please find someone else' but instead just kept telling me how horrible my nails are and how hard she has to file... Please only go to this place if you want SIMPLE nail painting. Read Less

Wonderful experience! Had my nails done for first time in September, wish I had done it ages ago . my nails were in a state , splitting & ridged, unable to grow any length. Cristina did a great job! She is so friendly and skilled too. Had sparkly polish for my holiday which look great and my nails have grown so much. Would recommend anyone to try the Shine Bar. Read Less
