I had a manicure with gel and glitter for Christmas, and the application was poor. The manicure lasted a few days before starting to lift. The manager told me they couldn't refund, as the gel hasn't cracked, and sometimes glitter wears off... They offered to do my nails again, for free, which I accepted. Guess what? After four days the manicure was lifting and cracking, and the polish on my thumb chipped. This time a refund was given in full. I'm posting my experience as I feel it's important to share true to life examples. I'm allergic to most nail polishes, so when I found out that Q61 did a full OPI manicure I was so excited. My first two visits were wonderful, the past three were very poor. I'm not sure if something has changed internally but it really is a shame. Read Less

Had my lashes and nails done a week ago they both looked lovely at the time. Within days many lashes had fallen out and now look awful and my nails are peeling a chipping. Was such a shame as the service in store had been great. Read Less

Poor experience on two occasions at this salon. I booked in to treat a friend for her birthday - I had a manicure and she had the OPI gel and (shellac) with glitter top coat. Despite paying above average for this treatment, my friend's nails lasted just a couple of days before lifting. Upon complaining I was told that this was normal and OPI gel nails can't be guaranteed to last more than a few days (!?). I requested a refund, given that I don't live in Leeds (or nearby) but the best they could offer was another service equivalent to the same value on my next visit. When I booked in to redeem my £45 on acrylic overlays with gel polish, I was equally disappointed. The application of the acrylic is poor, bumpy and thick, the shaping of the nails is terrible and as application of the gel polish is also uneven. I would usually pay £23 a my local salon for this same treatment and for a much better quality service. All in all, a bad service and rip off in my experience! Read Less

I had a lash lift with Shakeela and she was one of the loveliest women I've come across - so friendly and talkative and put me completely at ease. This was my first time having LVL lashes and she explained the process thoroughly; to be honest I wasn't completely impressed upon looking in the mirror immediately after the treatment but after spending a lot of the rest of the day absentmindedly brushing them upwards like she told me I am over the moon with the lashes I have woken up with. I had Chloe, she was amazing and very nice, at first i was so suspicious because of a bad experience at TWO other "salons". We all know changing beauty technicians is a huge deal, but she was so sweet and amazing. Yes the prices are not the cheapest but the quality of service you get is amazing. I was the last customer out ....on a Friday - on the payday weekend- and instead of rushing me out the door they asked if i needed the bathroom? Do i want to finish my drink? They are truly amazing. Joanne was an absolute dream, dead chatty and real attention to detail. Even the smallest of air bubble in my gel nails and she would file it off and apply a new coat. Such a lovely, relaxing atmosphere and I'd definitely go back. Also really quick but doesn't compromise on quality! Read Less

Such a poor experience. Nail chipped within hours of being done and then a few days after started to peel. They say OPI is like shellac, it definitely isn't and the nails when they were done was really messy and bumpy. Their treatment of my compliant has been appalling when I asked for a refund, as I wanted shellac and they can't provide that service to me, they have said they will no refund me anything (despite paying over of the odds of £30 for really poor quality) I would advise stay away, bad service and even worse quality nails for a very high price.
