I was booked in for a spray tan at 11am and had the St Tropez express as I needed to wash off after 6 hours. The developing time for this tan was supposed to be 3 hours. I left it about 4 before washing off. After getting out of the shower, I was back to my normal pale white skin. I called up the salon and explained and they allowed me to come back later that day and have it done again. This time I went for their best seller which is crazy angel- much better tan and cheaper in price. It was a bit of a faffy day but overall I was very happy with the way the salon dealt with my complaint. I went here for a spray tan. The girl who did it was lovely and made me feel completely comfortable. Unfortunately, the spray tan itself wasn't very good. The coverage was really poor, and my lower legs were extremely patchy (which was the part of me that was most on show!!) so I think she just didn't take the care to make sure I was fully covered. Best place for beauty treatments. I’ve had everything here from nails, waxing, massage and eyelashes and I can’t recommend them enough. I had the novalash extensions yesterday and they’re so much better than any other lashes I’ve had before! I have to say I was slightly disappointed! The facilities were nice and the staff were friendly enough, that I cannot fault. However, I went here for a leg wax last weekend, and I noticed as soon as I got home that a significant amount of hair is still on my legs, untouched! There are obvious lines of hair which have been totally missed, along with areas where the hair has simply snapped, rather than be pulled out. I found it actually very odd to not have been checked after t...he wax to make sure the hair was gone (as would be the case at any other salon I have been to). I do have very sensitive skin and my hair is very fine, so this part of a leg waxing in other salon's was usually crucial in making sure I get a good result. I don't think I will be returning sadly, as the job simply wasn't done and on this occasion was a waste of money. A pity, as I say, because the staff were friendly, and the facilities obviously well looked after. Had the fantastic new waxing treatment on Sunday done by the amazing sian. I've never been brave enough to have the all off before thinking it will hurt so much but with the new hot waxing treatment they are offering I did just that. Didn't hurt as much as normal strip waxing and was surprised how pain free I felt after the treatment. Had the new less painful waxing on Sunday with Amber and it definitely is just that! Less painful than strip waxing (not completely pain free) and you don’t get the throbbing afterwards, normally I can tell I’ve had it down for a few days after when it’s tender but this time I actually almost forgot I’d had it done! Had a lip wax there, the procedure itself was quick and fairly painless, but afterwards I noticed that about 20% of the wax was still on my skin, and my lip was extremely red and painful, far more than usual. It stayed like this all evening, only getting slightly less painful, and the next morning it STILL hurts and my lip is patchy red and scabbing over. Recently I have purchased the Dermalogica ultra calming kit from this salon. As I was unsure on which moisturiser would be best for my sensitive skin, I asked a girl who works there called Amber for advice. She was very helpful and advised me to get this kit. No other cream has ever worked as my skin is so sensitive! The cream has made my skin smooth... Without any dry patches! The whole kit has made my skin so much healthier and I have only used it for a week now. I will definitely be purchasing this again from this salon! Read Less

So dirty and bad hygiene practise. Soaked my nails off in a bowl of acetone that had been used for various other clients and not changed. Then charged me for this. Had shellac on my hands and toes, this only lasted two days before peeling off. My mum had her hands done and I have to say it was the worst application of shellac I'd ever seen. If you are into all things fake in the world of beauty then Coco Beach is for you! With a wide selection of body altering beauty therapies such as spray tans for £20, a full set of acrylic nails for £25, Brazilian wax £10, Eye brow wax £5 and pedicure £12. I am definitely one for a pedicure now and again (when someone pays for me as a Christmas present, hint hint) but waxing (ouch) and spraying all seems a bit ridiculous and expensive to me. Compared to some other beauty salons these prices are slightly cheaper though, so if it is for you then you might save a few quid visiting coco beach. Read Less
