As an Official Travel Guide for Google I would not recommend this Spa i called one week in advance to make a booking and they are fully book , this is not a celebrity studio and for someone who wants a booking one week in advance this is unacceptable. for women who work hectic weeks and busy schedules one week advance should be enough to get a booking i would suggest other studios and salons. and I am a Male ! I have mixed feelings about The Beauty Island, on one hand the treatments were very good and the spa facilities are lovely. However I found the staff cold, and not very approachable. My friend and I booked a spa package, when we arrived the front doors were broken but found ourselves being stared at by 4 members of staff from the warmth of the front desk, when a lady eventually came and opened the broken electric slide doors we weren't made to feel welcome or even an apology ...for leaving us in the freezing cold (poor customer service). Filled the forms out, got taken through to the spa with two other ladies also there for the spa and treatments! Alas, there are only three changing rooms, and there seemed to be an assumption that we were a couple.... we aren't that friendly and didn't really want to shower and get change in front of each other! I was left standing in a darken corridor when eventually a member of staff (a few had walked past) showed me to a seating area, which I was grateful for, I felt uncomfortable just hanging around. Unfortunately the changing rooms were unclean with hair in the shower tray and the towels and dressing gown provided were very scratchy... a tumble dryer and fabric softener needs to go on the shopping list. Then into the spa, which is a lovely relaxing space. Once in the treatment rooms, things were good (apart from we were both really cold - heating up please we were pretty much naked). The two ladies were polite however I have no idea what their names were, again the friendliness and customer services side of things were really something to be desired. The massage was amazing and the facial was very good. I had what I think was a face mask put on and left on for a short while which appeared to be a good time for my lady to have a play on her phone.... hopefully she wasn't taking a quick selfie with me!! I feel a little unprofessional. The Beauty Island is not a terrible place. Although, I am not sure I will go back. I appreciate being treated with respect and good customer service... Had an awful experience.. paid for a hot stone massage.. received a a sub par Swedish massage (for £65!) with a rub down with hot stones for about 30 seconds.. not a professional spa treatment as you would expect from the cost and what they portray on the website. In addition therapist didn’t speak a word of English and was therefore unable to understand me in my pre consultation.. Have tried to contact the manager via email but had no response... hence my review.. Would not recommend. Read Less

I love this Salon Arancha is amazing with my nails. I have recently started having my hair done there and have had some extensions. I love them so much and wish I'd had them done a long time ago. Wonderful Spa Package I booked a spa day at The Beauty Island Sanctuary for my mum's 60th birthday. We had a wonderful time; the staff were friendly and attentive without being "in-your-face" and managed to strike a balance between allowing us to feel relaxed and unhurried, yet keeping to an organised schedule. It was lovely to relax in the ambient spa for an hour before our treatments with a glass of sparkling wine. The facial was a blissful hour of pampering with luxurious products and plenty of neck and shoulder massaging. Uninterrupted by the annoying sales patter which often accompanies such treatments, we were able to completely drift off for an hour before being gently roused with a glass of ice cold water and details of our next treatment. Pedicure was lovely-my feet have never been so smooth, and the whole procedure felt like an indulgent treat. My mum and sister-in-law were equally enthusiastic about their respective treatments. Visited The Beauty Island Spa for the first time today for a Swedish massage. The salon itself is modern clean and the therapy rooms are very relaxing. I was offered coffee and introduced to my massage therapist Tatyana. I have to say Tatyana was excellent, she was a very skilled and responded immediately to my request for changes in pressure. She was polite and very professional and I've left the salon feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I've already booked to go back next month.x Read Less

Best hairdressers I’ve been to , my hair was dead and very badly damaged due to bleach with guidance from Ella and Becky ( who is the hairdresser ) told me to come in and have treatments done before having my easilock extensions done . My hair has never felt any better service was amazing and will defiantly be going back. Bad service and advice, i have dark hair and came in asked about ombre and showed them a pic of the style i wanted. They said they could do it so i did the skin test and booked in close to my holiday just to turn up for them to then tell me i need to come in twice and therefore will cost me more money. When arrived got a cappuccino the milk you off took a mouth full I was nearly sick. Then go through to the spa the water drink was warm they say they replaced but then didn't Then lunch we ask for fish cakes we got sandwiches I complain because I can't eat bread so I ask to change they say was they fault but they didn't had any else so no food Then I thought I will have a nice tea but the water in the urn was cold The only thing nice was the massage the nice lady very po...lite she was very good When I go to pay they say we are not going to charge for the meal like they where gave me a favour I say I didn't eat so that's no a favour I favour would be a discount but she look at me like I was stupid So I payed £210.00 for 2 people and it was the worst spa ever and I have been to loads on uk and over the world So don't wast you money they are not worth.
