Wow, since the original owners of this place left, it has dramatically gone downhill. The original owners have now opened another shop called "Crystal Nails Spa" which is also in Chichester, infact it's just up the road by next. I usually go there but it was a Sunday and I desperately needed my nails infilled and crystal nails isn't open on a Sunday so booked an appointment with VIP nails for 1pm. Didn't get seen until 1.40. There was a poor woman who had also booked for 1.30 and she ended up leaving and coming back at 2.15 and she still didn't get seen straight away. There were two other customers who left, tired of waiting. Anyway, I got my acrylic infills and I just wanted a square tip and French manicure...simple for any nail technician, or so you'd think. I had the male take over doing my nails from the female and they are just awful. I'm more angry with myself for paying them and not saying anything but if I'm honest, I had already been in there for so long and I also had my young daughter with me who had had enough. Plus the language barrier makes it extremely difficult so I just sat there laughing because I was just over it and wanted it done so I could leave. The white tips of my French manicure are so uneven. The amount of acrylic he applied has now made my nails look thick and clumpy. Not to mention, the square tip is in fact a rounded tip. £28 I paid for infills + shellac and now I will have to go to my usual salon crystal nails spa, to have them fix them. I guess that's a very expensive lesson learned. These people need to practice more to perfect the way they do people's nails because this is our hard earned money they are taking from us. I no for a fact the people from crystal nails would never have allowed me to walk out of their salon with my nails looking like this. I strongly believe that the people in this salon need to go back and do another course as a nail technician because this is not ok. The first set of acrylics I had done here were great, and this was a young woman, however on my second visit, my nails were applied by a male. The end result was no where near as good and the next day they were already showing growth. The acrylic was applied way too thick, I also Commented that the cuticles should be pushed back and he didnt do this. Next time I will request one of the females. Read Less

First time I've been here since new management took over, and I'd defiantly never go back, I came in for infills and chose to have the chrome stuff, anyway the whole time the person who did my nails was talking with other staff and not fully concentrating, they caught me with the file a few times, anyway I noticed on 2 of my fingers that they hadn't gone to the edge enough with the acrylic. It looked like I'd already had them on a week, then also once they'd done the chrome I... could still see the bright orange base colour under the Chrome all around the edges. I did comment on this but I couldn't hear their respond. So I left unhappy for a few days later a nail snapped completely off, so I went back and they fixed it. To leave again and now their is 4 that have snapped off!!! I have messaged but had no respond... never had this before the whole time I've had them done with the old management. Awful experience!! Never going there again . My nails were left sore .red and small cuts.I did point out my fingers were hurting ... I got a sorry. Wish I hadn't paid up front. Nails now off. My nails are sore to touch and a mess. Read Less

So - I walked out! Thought I'd give it a try and see what new management was like. The place is starting to look swish and professional. I told the young man what I wanted, just SNS with no colour. He started to ask the lady questions and they entered into a conversation about my nails. This did not instil me with confidence. I asked if there was a problem - neither of them replied. They continued to talk about my nails, which I had only had done three weeks previous - so the...y weren't that bad. I asked the lady if there was a problem - no reply. I retracted my hands as they continued to talk, and asked the young man again if there is a problem - no reply. I do not speak Vietnamese, but they clearly speak English. I am not prepared to allow someone who will not communicate with me to drill into my nails. I told them I would go to my usual place as they would not communicate with me. So-I walked out. Absolutely by far the worst nail place I've ever been. They RUINED my nails, did not clean instruments in between clients and caused fungal infections in my nails. The quality of work was extremely poor, and the workers are very rude. PLEASE AVOID and don't make the same mistake I did by going there! I am really disappointed my daughter and her friend went in yesterday and had acrylics done all I can say dreadful will never recommend total waste of £25 each which they had saved to get these done for Christmas. Two very disappointed 13yr olds !!! Read Less
