I asked for an American mani & pedi but got French, I told him it was ok for my toes but to please make sure my hands get an American I still got French ... and the tips are so goopy they don’t look good .. im embarassed and have to go to another nail salon to have them fixed I nicely mentioned something on my way out that maybe the new guy needed more practice before he did paying customers but they said he wasn’t new I wish I could add photos of how bad this is ... none of my hangnails clipped ... disgusting goopy mess of nails that a toddler could have done! I came to get a fill on my nails & a pedicure..those ladies did well & were very friendly. I decided to get my eyebrows done at the last moment & it seemed like the lady was rushing (as it was the end of the day) & she totally messed my eyebrows up!! I normally go to Ann Le and she is completely wonderful!! I love her!! Last week she had to cancel so I had Nicole do my nails. She was completely unprofessional! She was rude and stuck up. She talked shit about me behind my back(I know this because one of the other employees translated for me). She didn’t do what I asked her to, she over charged me, and my nails cracked the very next day! I have to go back to get them fixed and it’s been less than a week! I got gel, not regular polish! I went yesterday for acrylic tips and gel color. The color was way off (my fault not theirs) when I went back to correct the color there was a misunderstanding and the tech started taking the tips off. Everyone was so kind and the owner fixed the situation right away. They have always given me nothing but great service. Read Less

I’ve only been going here since July maybe. I had my first no chip done here and it literally peeled off my nails. I couldn’t do anything because I was in another country. That was June, now the last 2 or 3 times I’ve been there my nails peel up/chip by the cuticles within a few days. I was just in Friday and as of Monday (3 days!) ones already lifted almost half way to the middle of my finger.. the girl also got me with the drill multiple times on my cuticles and the sides of my fingers.. another time a had a man do them and he was so rough my fingers hurt for a week.. I will just go back to driving 45 mins to Michigan City to get them done. Read Less

I made a appointment for Friday and realized that I might be approximately 5-7 mind late, so I called and the rude receptionist said well Cathy has been sitting here waiting for you, (mind you it was 4:50). She goes on to say I know your appointment isn’t until 5, but she’s been waiting. I say, can you please check with her and see if she can wait, her response was......I can’t she’s waxing someone right now. I say wait a minute, you just said she was waiting for me! Then I s...ay, have her call me if she can’t wait. I continue on my way and it’s now 4:53 and I’m basically turning into the parking lot by Menards and my phone rings. It’s the rude receptionist telling me that Cathy has already started someone else. I say wait a minute it isn’t even 5:00! She said you said you might be late and she couldn’t wait, because were busy. I tell her I’m coming in I never canceled my appointment, she proceeds to tell me take it up with her! No problem I will. I go in and sure enough Cathy is working on someone else. I tell her I didn’t cancel my appointment or change the time, she says ok and moves the lady. I sit down and Cathy says can you wait for me while I fix her nail. Wait a minute, you couldn’t wait for me when I MIGHT be 5-7 minuets late (which I wasn’t) but now I’m suppose to wait for you....sure why not!! I’ve been going here for YEARS, needless to say I’m very upset and disappointed by this. According to Cathy she was told I was going to be late. Only gave a star because I couldn't give less. After having a bad experience with Station Nails, Crystals was suggested as a great place. I arrived at 10 am and didn't leave until 12:00pm on a Friday. The nail techs were playing musical chairs with the customers, it was chaos. Needing my nails done for a wedding, I waiting for what I thought was a great gel manicure on my own nails. I went home took cook and noticed less than 3 hours out of the shop 3 of my nails were chipped. I called in and the gentleman told me to come in and he'd fix them. Coming to the salon they wanted to paint over the chips instead of fixing the entire nail. Nails that were 20£ have cost me 40£ and time that I don't have to spend. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Save your money or spend the money at a professional establishment. The owner was rude and trying to skim on resources. Read Less

Staff were nice but my gel nails are dreadful. Had these done on Thursday when my usual place couldn't fit me in. My last set of gel nails lasted me five weeks and were still perfect (other than having grown out) when I had them soaked off and redone at Crystal Nails. This is the state of my nails after one weekend - two of them have broken at the corner, several of them have got the gel and sealer applied over the edge of my nail onto my finger so they look a mess and are lifting up and most of them are not sealed at the tip and are chipping. They didn't look too bad when I left the salon on Thursday (although I had to ask for a large bump to be filed out of one nail and resealed) and I couldn't stay any longer as I had to get to work, but they have not worn at all, They look like I have cheap nail varnish on which is chipping off and this is only after four days. God knows what they'll look like in a couple of weeks but they cost me £42 for nails and toes and I can't afford to have them done again for several weeks. But then again I never normally need to to. Disgusting service they started my nails and and then expected me to wait 20 mins to get my nails painted they didn't even let me know they just left me in the seat and I had to ask. They haven't got enough staff and will accept people coming in even if they can't cope just to get there money. They wouldn't even give a discount for the inconvenience. Read Less
