I have visited Jonathon Khoi many times for pedicures and haven't had any issues, until my visit two weeks ago. I scheduled a mani/pedi 3-4 months in advance for my wedding and had the worst experience of my life. To start the girl doing my pedicure, did not speak to me at all. Not a peep. She then began to clip my toenails without asking how short I wanted them or what shape. I had to ask her numerous times to clean and clip areas that very clearly needed it. After having t...o ask at least 4-5 times for things to clipped, cleaned, and scrubbed she finally painted my nails- I chose red as I always do so I am very familiar with some difficulties this may cause. She left polish all over crevices and sides of my toe, which I had to ask her to remove, even then she missed spots and I removed them myself while still in the salon. After she polished I noticed a dark edge in the crevice of my toe and had to ask her to take care of that, since the polish was wet it made an even bigger mess. -I wish that was the worst of it- The same girl did my gel manicure. Again she never ask for the shape, just started filing away. I had to interrupt her immediately to specify what shape. After filing my nails she never once cleaned under them until I asked. I then had to ask her to use the file to remove the residual thin nail left behind. She insisted I wash my hands with soap, anytime I've ever had a gel manicure I was specifically told not to use soap. Once she completed the polish there was bumps, air bubbles, and inconsistent layers of polish. She left behind a ton of skin and cuticle. I would mention something throughout the manicure and she kept saying it was fine. When I went up to check out I explained to the girls and showed them the situation. They apologized but insisted there was nothing they could do, that I could possibly come back tomorrow. I explained that I was getting married in 2 days and honestly had no time. They offered to fix what they could- the gel was so bad the girl fixing my nails had to remove it and repolish. My appointment was at 11:15 and I didn't leave until 2:30. Finally they offered $5 off- upon insisting they call the manager she finally landed on $15 off- All I can say is I will never go back to Jonathan Khoi, I used to highly recommend them and never will again.
