I have just moved to Coventry, the beauty salon is round the corner from my new home. I had two occasions on the weekend, the Mobo Awards and a 54th Birthday Party. Only the Trainee India was available, who is qualified at level 2 nails according to her manager Jackie, so is qualified to do a French Manicure. 1. Staff were rude when I entered the shop. Not friendly at all. The shop was cold and very unwelcoming. I was ignored to begin with, it’s probably because I am black. 2. I had a French Manicure done, which started to peel off straight away with hours before 2 events I needed to attend. 3. The pedicure, my feet still had dead skin on after treatment!! The water was cold, I told India, she advised next time I come I can have hot water!!! I was shocked. 4. Overall my experience has been extremely bad, as the staff were rude staff so was the manager when I called to complain. 5. The manager does not listen. I didn’t even get to explain the bad service received on my feet. When I mentioned at the end she was not interested. She was only interested in booking me in again. 6. During the complain the manager called me rude and aggressive, is that how you talk to a first time customer? I guess it’s because I am black!! Don’t come to this salon if you are black. 7. I was offered the same treatment again, I asked how is that going to resolve the issue? what guarantees do I have that the job will be done correctly next time? The manager Jackie would not answer the question for several minutes. When I said I will not come in for another treatment, the the answer was that each stage of the French Manicure will be checked. Why didn’t just say so in the first place? 8. The manager Jackie kept speaking over me, not allowing me to speak. Then when I did speak she didn’t let me finish my sentence but tried to answer a question that I didn’t ask e.g. I ask what guarantee, (I didn’t finish the sentence) when she gave me a whole very long speech about she has no control over the nails when I leave the salon. That’s not what so was asking!!! Overall: Never never book this treatment here you will be disappointed especially if you are black!! Read Less

I’m sorry to say that my experience with this nail bar and salon was not a happy one. They are very nice people and the shop is well presented. Sadly the quality was lacking. I had a set of gel nails which when I left I felt had not been done very well, with gel on the cuticles, odd shaped filing and pooling around the edges. I only really noticed how bad it was after I left and was so upset that I phoned to complain which is something I never do. I was shocked to get a call back from a very angry woman who seemed to be more outraged that I was complaining at all and that I hadn’t said anything at the time. She seemed to take it as a personal insult. I’m sorry but if a customer is so upset that they feel the need to say something you should listen and not get defensive. Sadly it only got worse. Within 3 days the gel started to chip around the cuticles and come away at the ends. Even if I hadn’t complained before I would do after that but there doesn’t seem to be a point after their last response. I would not recommend this place at all. It was a waist of my time and money. I have just moved to Coventry, the beauty salon is round the corner from my new home. I had two occasions on the weekend, the Mobo Awards and a 54th Birthday Party. I’m sorry to say that my experience with this nail bar and salon was not a happy one. They are very nice people and the shop is well presented. Sadly the quality was lacking. I had a set of gel nails which when I left I felt had not been done very well, with gel on the cuticles, odd shaped filing and pooling around the edges. I only really noticed how bad it was after I left and was so upset that I phoned to complain which is something I never do.
