Recently moved to Brighton and needed somewhere new to get my nails done, I’m so pleased I found somewhere perfect on my first try! The girls are all so polite and friendly and they did a brilliant job on my nails. Real perfectionists! See you soon thank you xx

The ladies were lovely, my nails look amazing - exactly what I wanted. The only thing is that they went over an hour, however the prices and quality were worth the wait.

Went there now fee times... quality is as cheap as the prices! My nails are sick now and the nails breaking after 1- 1 1/2 week. The women needs 2 1/2 hours!! To refill and it coast you more and more...
Went there now fee times... quality is as cheap as the prices! My nails are sick now and the nails breaking after 1- 1 1/2 week. The women needs 2 1/2 hours!! To refill and it coast you more and more money each time because of the broken nails! Not worth your money and time!

First time visiting Velvet Nails, they were amazing! It was as if I had been there before, chatting away and made me feel very comfortable.
Normally I hate spending my evenings after work having to get my nails done as I can't wait to get home, but here it is like you have known the ladies all your life and i will look forward to getting them done again!
Definitely recommend.

Great staff so friendly, my nails also look great. No electronic filing of your beds either which stops that long term damage. I would really recommend

I had a great experience. I have been to several nail salons recently. This was by far the best service I have received in the the Brighton and Hove area. I agree with the other reviews; the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the place is clean and comfortable, the option of polish colours is vast. I was very impressed and I'm definitely going back. I had a great experience. I have been to several nail salons recently. This was by far the best service I have received in the the Brighton and Hove area. I agree with the other reviews; the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the place is clean and comfortable, the option of polish colours is vast. I was very impressed and I'm definitely going back. Easily booked in appointment etc, however not too happy with the nails, 2 weeks later one of my index nails has lifted so bad it has to be taken off and I was left having to file under a nail as acryl...
Easily booked in appointment etc, however not too happy with the nails, 2 weeks later one of my index nails has lifted so bad it has to be taken off and I was left having to file under a nail as acrylic was left under the nail. I feel my cuticles weren't pushed back far enough and just disappointed about my index finger, this also isn't my strong hand which the nail has lifted from

I wanted to love this place because I've been searching hard for a fabulous nail salon in Brighton and I thought I'd found it. The staff are really friendly and chatty and the salon has lovely decor. At first I was really impressed with my nails as the designs on them were awesome - very creative and just what I was looking for but once I got home the problems started. Within a day my nails started lifting, one by one I was having to glue them down and they were driving me crazy. I've had extensions for years, so I know how to look after them, but I can honestly say I've never had problems like this before. I usually go to salons where they use electric files and here it was done by hand, whether that is what caused the problem or the acrylic is not strong enough, I'm not sure but sadly I won't be back. It's such a shame because the designs were fab and it is super close to my work but it was not worth the £30 price tag for nails that don't stay in place, when I can get them done for half the price elsewhere.

Came in on Sat for shellac nails n mini pedicure, so impressed and very happy with my gorge nails :) lovely, friendly and funny staff, thanks so much, can't wait to come back xx

First time visiting Velvet Nails, they were amazing! It was as if I had been there before, chatting away and made me feel very comfortable.
Normally I hate spending my evenings after work having to get my nails done as I can't wait to get home, but here it is like you have known the ladies all your life and i will look forward to getting them done again!

I wanted to love this place because I've been searching hard for a fabulous nail salon in Brighton and I thought I'd found it. The staff are really friendly and chatty and the salon has lovely decor.
