Did both hd brows and lvl lashes and hd brows gave me a very satisfactory result through good teamwork with staff. But for lvl lashes even though the staff was really nice and king but the lash did not really lift very well even I told them I wanted it to stand out. I was passing the salon on the weekend and saw the offer of the month- gel manicure for £25! Successfully making an appointment for later that afternoon, I popped back for my treatment with Chloe. Just had HD brows done by Angel. I love them! Angel spent plenty of time asking me how I like my brows and was very thorough to make sure she knew exactly how I wanted them. She made me feel really comfortable and relaxed and after the treatment when I looked in the mirror I was amazed by the result. I took my 16 year old daughter to Brighton for the day. After trying to book a manicure beforehand as a surprise and found I could not due to it being Valentine's Day. We walked past The Lanes health and beauty spa and went in on the off chance. I paid £50 for two manicures. Our seats were uncomfortable, my daughters manicurist made her feel very uncomfortable, stopping and staring at her when she moved her hand to get more comfortable. No drying process was applied therefore both my and my daughters nail polish was scuffed and ruined within an hour of leaving.....and I was given a cup of coffee in a badly stained mug.....yuck!! Seriously disappointed having wasted the money. I would not recommend this shop for manicures at all!! Read Less

I come here for my manicure and pedicures and HD brows. They do a great job on all three. It's clean and they spend enough time on your appointment to get it right. I've always felt well taken care of. Plus, I have sensitive cuticles and they are always gentle. Other places in the past have injured my cuticles, but here they take the time to be gentle. These ladies are fantastic. I get my eyebrows done here (HD - do it or regret it) and they really do look after you here. They are friendly, attentive, give advice and do not snub you like I have been in other salons in the past. They gave me advice on my skin (which was spot on) and they really sorted out my eyebrows. I want to keep going back because they give good customer service. I haven't tried many other salons in Brighton but I do feel loyal to this one after just 2 visits. Read Less

This place is another over-priced crap business. I went for a pedicure here and the rude, bitchy young girl (who I'm sure was taking the piss of me with her colleague) basically put my feet in one of those spa bath things and painted my toenails. This is not what I call a pedicure - especially for what they charge! She cut my nails too short and then told me I couldn't have a French tip polish... Red is it then.I felt uncomfortable and judged. It was like going back to school.Save your money folks and steer clear of this business. My wife really needed a pick-me-up after a family tragedy about 18mths ago. Well she really got it here, after being recommended by a family member. The staff were lovely as was/is the place itself. Pink, pink pink. I would never usually set foot in a place this pink and girly, but after a boozy lunch with a girlfriend it suddenly seemed like a good idea to combine a manicure with a glass of champagne. We ended up getting a pedicure so that we could sit in the fantastic massaging 'pedichairs' which are popular in LA but are rarely seen here. The pedicurist did a great job, she was friendly and used Essie nail varnishes on us. I would say that if you're going to drink though, save it for a special occasion, as it the bubbly costs extra. This is the kind of place that in theory makes me shudder....glittery floor tiles, pink fluffy pens, pink champagne nail bar etc. Its seriously girly, which I am not. And as I sat waiting for my wax appointment, I did feel terribly scruffy in my parka and trainers. However, the staff were genuinely lovely- really welcoming and efficient...and although I felt like I'd walked into a Baby Spice beauty salon, I began to sort of like the ostentatiousness of it all! But I wasn't there to inspect the decor, so let's get down to the nitty gritty. Waxing is never pleasant and I, with a particularly low pain threshold, have always found bikini waxing to be something of a complete and utter nightmare! I usually book appointments and then chicken out at the last minute. I have been back to this place twice now, so that's saying something! The girl who did my wax was chirpy, competent and above all QUICK! Her name is Rene and she is definitely the best waxer I've ever been to. At £10, its also much cheaper than many other places in town! Now, let's return momentarily to the Pink Champagne Nail Bar. That's right, you can sip champagne whilst having your nails done.
