The last time I came was horrendous and I will never come back. The first time I went for acrylic extensions everyone was SO rude and unwelcoming. The man doing my nails asked how long I wanted them and I showed him a picture of exactly how I wanted them but he did them so much shorter than I wanted and an almond shape rather than a coffin shape. He also kept cutting me with the electric file but I didn't want to be rude so I didn't say anything and all he did was laugh and say 'oops sorry'. Then I came back for infills and had the worst experience ever. Anna was doing my nails which I was happy about because I heard that she was the best one there but oh my gosh I was wrong. I had two broken nails which snapped within a few days of having them on then she told me to get a whole new set rather than infills which would apparently be cheaper because of the length of my nails even though mathematically it didn't make sense and the man the week before did them so short! Anyway I just said okay and she started to take them off. She was so rude the entire way through my appointment giving me the rudest looks and sighing loudly every time I moved the slightest bit in my chair. She kept telling me to "sit up" without even looking up at me. When removing my nails she would pick at my nails and rip bits off where she could which obviously hurt but she carried on anyway. She then said that the nails I wanted would be £5 extra than their price list said because of the length in the rudest possible way so I asked if I could go to the cash machine to take out more money and she said no because there was people waiting (which there wasn't?). They came out terrible and I literally could have cried on my way home looking at them and thinking about the way I was treated there. Especially since the week before Anna was doing her friend's nails in the chair next to me and she was so kind and she painted about 5 different colours until her friend decided she liked them and she didn't mind at all. I've asked my friends that have gone there and they all said that she's one of the rudest nail techs they've ever met. There are so many other salons you can go to with friendly staff that won't cut your hands and laugh about it with the other staff, be rude to you and give you the ugliest nails that look nothing like what you want. I literally hope they go out of business. They made me so upset. I've also heard from friends that if you complain about a wonkey nail or a badly painted nail or anything they will all come and tell you there's nothing wrong with them and tell you to get out. If you ask for some of your money back because they did a bad job they won't do it and they'll say they'll call the police if you don't leave. I was worried about coming here because of the reviews. However whenever I see someone with nice nails they always suggest this place. The girls were really lovely. The service was great, I was attended to really quickly. I had basic acrylics with a marbled ring finger on each hand. I don’t know the girls name (she had blonde short hair) but she did such a great job. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I’m unsure of how the nails will last. However they feel strong and survived a shift at work! Honestly ignore the 1 star reviews. This place is amazing. Read Less

The girls here have been doing my nails for more than 9 years! So friendly and have been great in encouraging me to try new styles/colours rather than sticking to my usual French tips.. Once used a different shop when I was in a rush and natural nail were closed on a Sunday.!. Worst thing I ever did! Hated it !! The shop was busy and I didn't know who to talk to when I walked in. AWKWARD. I asked for an individual member of staff to do my nails because She was recommended to me by a friend. This was ignored and I was passed from staff member to staff member. They hacked away at my nails sawing away some of my cuticles off and making them look hacked at. I asked for gel ... they used acrylic and then said it's ok because it's cheaper -___- They made my nails look HUGE and bulky because the woman had then applied a ridiculous amount of acrylic to my nails. They barely know how to design anything in there. All they know is how to paint a nail one colour; when all I wanted was a white pointed tip. SHABBBY WORK. Had to keep my nails on for the day. Cause I had a shoot but removed them 2days later because they were HORRIBLE . They also still charged me £30 and I only realised when I was in my car on the way back home. The woman clearly used acrylic and charged me for gel. I was even more annoyed because I could have paid the same price and gone next door to a nice nail and spa who would have charged me the same, not used drills, not swapped members of staff, served me a tea or coffee and would have taken time and care. Worst experience ever. Very expensive, had to pay £5 extra to fix only TWO nails, so an infill cost me £20 instead of £15. Was told by staff 'don't come here if you don't like'. I was really in the mood for a pick me up preen and pamper, so when I noticed that Natural Nails was open on a weekday at 6.30, I went straight on in.Immediately I was greeted by one of the ladies, who was straight to the point and asked what I wanted. She didn't speak very much English but I understood that they did Shellac and it would be £25. I nodded and was hastily taken to an empty chair. It's a good idea to know exactly what you want, as I'm pretty terrible at making decisions at the best of times and change my nail varnish every few days! So it was a little awkward, being handed an array of colours to choose from and not having a clue where to begin! The lady was a little impatient and really wanted to get on with the manicure. She did try to help narrow the choices for me, but you could tell that she wasn't impressed. We finally went for a light nudey pink with a little shimmer to it. The lady having her nails done next to me was so warm and lovely, and clearly a regular. Apparently, the glitters and shimmery ones last longer on the nails.Nothing was explained, but I followed the minimal instructions given. I think this was mainly due to the limited English. The lady certainly knew what she was doing and rigorously attacked my cuticles with precision and skill. This was painless and the end result was fantastic, this being the part that I am a bit rubbish at and nervous to do myself!Having my nails done is a bit of a treat for me and not something I treat myself to very often. If you're looking for a pampering, girly experience out of Legally Blonde, I'd suggest going elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a speedy service with a great end result, don't fancy making painful chit chat and can put up with that overpowering acrylic nail smell, then give this place a go!You'll need to pop to a cash machine beforehand as they don't except cards, but there is a machine conveniently placed just a few doors down if you were to find yourself without. Sorry, but there's nothing natural about 'Natural Nails'! I visited very recently for an eyebrow wax, and a manicure. It was supposed to be a bit of cheap pampering for my birthday. All I can say is, I've been more pampered in KFC!Customer service is minimal, compassion is zero! Within 10 minutes of walking in the door, both my face and my hands were done - brilliant, if you want to resemble the man who fell to earth!Being fair, it is very cheap in here. If you're on a tight budget, it's okay - as long as you aren't too fussy about what you want. For me, I'm going to pay the extra few quid in future, and get at least a smile for my money! Read Less

After stupidly giving my housemate the choice of how to spend the day, we were soon on the hunt for a salon in which to get our nails done. Now, I bite my nails to an extent that I imagine to them to resemble a Saudi Arabian market lady's hands, so I thought this would be a pointless trip for me. I was soon assured that something could be done about them and some filing was probably required, this was all alien to me. Something familiar to me however is rudeness, cue the distracted and despondent receptionist type. Natural Nails? I can only imagine this name makes reference to the state of your nails before entering this place, because there ain't nothing natural about the nails coming out!!This is the place to go for all manner of nail extension, embellishment and design. My experience is limited to a plain old understated manicure, but some of the women around me were acquiring full on talons! The woman who did my nails was very fast and efficient...possibly a little too speedy actually, I like to languish in the rare treat of having someone faff about with my nails and make them look pretty!  But its a serious operation they've got going down there...it gets busy and you can be in and out of your chair before you know it!  Obviously if you're having a full set of silks or acrylics the process will be more lengthy.  They do refills too, naturally.  Like all respectable nail salons, there are endless intricate design possibilities- mostly achieved using airbrush and stencils...whether you fancy flowers, lettering or a simple pattern, they'll cater to your every artistic whim.  Fancy seasonal nails for Christmas?
