I went here for a manicure. And I came out with both my thumbs and one index finger bleeding because the lady cut in to my cuticles. A pretty painful experience. I think the only thing that saved it was the fact that the colour I picked came out really nice. I’ve left my nails for a week or so and noticed as well that my cuticles are far worse than they were when I came in which isn’t supposed to be the case when a manicure is done properly. My cuticles are peeling on the outside. The staff were lovely, even though the lady that did my nails didn’t speak English. However the service was of very pool quality. Read Less

i went to this place with my mum and a friend and the three of us had mixtures of full manicures, full pedicures and one Acrylic nail application. The Manicures and pedicures (and the girls who did them) were fantastic, but to my disappointment the acrylic nails were a MESS! the lady doing them didn't speak any english so communicating what i wanted was very difficult. Some nails were short others were long, the shape wasn't consistent and i had to keep pointing out nails that were done badly (which in turn got on her nerves). She didn't clean my cuticles after filing them off, she used way too much acrylic powder and so my nails are really bulky and just messy, and even after asking for adjustments i've still had to come home and file my nails to fix them so they don't look a mess. Today was my first visit for a mani/pedi at Nail Garden. I found this location on Treatwell and after reading all the 5-stars and how clients raved about a nail technician named Claudia I decided to give it a try. The nail salon is classy, clean, nicely maintained and decorated, professionally ran, and a relaxing atmosphere. They also offered complimentary drinks (water, tea,cappuccino, etc) which I thought was pretty cool. After requesting Claudia I walked away refreshed with a teal manicure with silver fading glitter on the tips over a pretty nude colour.The choice of colours is amazing,i haven t seen anywhere else a salon with so many colours (there must of been over 400 colours to choose from).I really appreciated her honesty, openness, and attention to detail and exactly what I wanted!I will definitely be coming back! I am giving three starts because I think it is a rip off, £30 and you don't even get the hard skin off your feet and my hands were done maybe in 10 minutes not cream one coat of nail varnish, my hands and feet were done I n Spain 3 weeks ago and it was in a big city , Valencia, which you expect to be expensive, for €18 my hands and my feet were done properly all the hard skin rubbed off, my feet felt like in a cloud, here you need to pay maybe £60 to have it done properly. There is a weird environment there like if there is not team work, more like a bitchy like atmosphere, the young lady who did my feet did her work well and I have nothing to complain about her, I am complaining about the owner's prices they prefer to have a nail studio empty than charging fair prices. I won't be visiting it again. Updating my review When I checked my nails at home I could see the lady didn't take the varnish off properly and some of my nails look terrible , m feet the next day were really dry and because the lady did only one coat you can't even notice something was done on my toe nails. This was my first visit ... as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and offered a drink. I then sat down got a very comfortable chair and experienced two hours of pampering. I had acrylic nail extentions with gel and a natural pink. The staff are incredibly friendly, loved the music and atmosphere . They continued to offer drinks throughout my visit. I had an appointment booked for 12.45 which i paid for on Treatwell. The appointment stated it would be 1 hour and 15 mins max. No one said hello to me when i walked in and the atmosphere was filled with 90's pop. Then my appointment got underway 15 mins late. NO solution was applied when the technician pushed back my cuticles which hurt.. tips were applied; was not asked the length i wanted or shape i wanted. As the time continued i realized that I needed to go back to work - with only one hand completed.. Had to leave after being in the salon for nearly 2 hours and my nails nowhere near finished.. Had to go back after work and still waited for 15 minutes and another 40 minutes until they were finished!!! the nail technician didn't speak a word of English so could not communicate with me about length or shape.. All in all it was shocking service.. My Advice - Don't bother.. pay the extra £10 for a decent service.. I wasn't even offered a discount as an apology or even an apology!! Read Less

Went there for the first time to do my eyebrows. To be honest I was searching quite for a long time where to go, who to trust my eyebrows. When I just entered, staff there was friendly and kind to me, but then came time to do my eyebrows. I cannot say that my eyebrows are bad, they were so good. Only thing I wanted to do is just to clean them. The girl there just DESTROYED them!! She made my eyebrows thin, short, one is thicker than another! My eyebrows were thick.
