A real cut above most other nail places in Brighton. There's none of the pretentiousness you get in some salons and it's not nasty and fumey like other places. Dont bother coming here unless youre a famous youtuber. Im serious. Despite booking well in advance and turning up ahead of my booked time-slot, a youtube celebrity turned up and took my space. When I finally had "my turn" i was treated like a 2nd class citizen. I was not offered drink, the youtuber was. I was interrupted while talking so my manicurist could speak to the youtuber. I was told i couldnt have a certain design as it was too late (keep in mind the youtuber took my slot, which is why it was late and was also getting a design on her nails). Over the course of my time there i was consistently interrupted and ignored and generally treated with disdain. Simply not a welcoming atmosphere for anybody who doesnt have thousands of subscribers on youtube. Forgive me for sounding entitled, im not, i just dont like receiving awful customer service while the staff who is supposed to be attending me, a customer, is consistently fawning and gushing over a local celebrity. As for the nails. Theyre decent. But its certainly not worth surrendering any dignity to be treated like your custom is worthless. I've been coming to nail crew regularly for quite a while now after previously having tried lots of other salons locally. The experience is unique here. They listen to what you want, explain the process and pricing thoroughly and are all amazing nail technicians!!
