I’ve seen the previous reviews from 3/4 years ago. I’ve been to 3 nail places in the last year and JK Nails was far the best in terms of the nails lasting. My nails are straight for a start, shaped how I wanted them, I had dipping and that has lasted nearly 4 weeks on my fingernails and over 6 weeks on my toe nails. All nails bars are tight for time - you only have to do the maths to work why. I had one experience where the dipping came off on one of my finger nails and I went back the next day and they repaired it free of charge - which they should do if it comes off in less than 2 weeks. They are all friendly in there and I would recommend them. Businesses can learn from their mistakes and the previous reviews bear no relation to my experience in 2022. I hope this helps for anyone considering giving them a try!

Had my nails done today , had SNS here. I can honesty say worst experience of my life. She was talking to a friend so much she filed my nails down and buffed so hard i was in agony from being burnt, she then used drill and my cuiticles are red raw. Very unprofessional here. Im still in so much pain. Im a beauty therapist my self and know how it should be done.

Pretty disappointed. In fact the only thing I liked was the colour (which I chose). I had acrylic nails done here for the first time, I know they are false nails, but they really do look false. They aren’t straight and in line with my real nails, they look like they have just been stuck on half way down the nail, slightly across the nail and not at all in the right angle. They aren’t symmetrical, across each hand or on each nail - some nails have a right angle on one edge and the other edge is a gradual curve. I also have a bubble on one nail in the polish. No effort was made to push back my cuticles either so my nail beds look horrendous. It’s true what they say; if you want a job done well, do it yourself. I won’t be paying £25 for nails from here again when I can do them myself ten times better. If I could have rated lower than one star I would have.

I have been going here for a couple of months now and I am pretty pleased with the nails (full set of acrylics w/infills).
I was dubious because of the bad reviews, but was passing and needed my nails...
I have been going here for a couple of months now and I am pretty pleased with the nails (full set of acrylics w/infills).
I was dubious because of the bad reviews, but was passing and needed my nails done and didn't need an appointment here.
I have given 1 star less as I I think it works out a bit expensive to get a gel polish (extra £10) instead of normal varnish (I find they last longer with gel polish, managed to snap 3 off whilst doing DIY with normal varnish, my own fault really!)
Overall, happy with the service and will return.

Went here after avoiding for several years because they were the only place open. Wish I hadn’t. Within a few days several nails had fallen off, and 2 had got fungal infections. Went back several times to try to get this rectified, but they were always “too busy”! 😡
These people are all smiles, but beware! They are 2 faced money grabbers! Always ready to take your cash, but provide a third rate service, and refuse to correct their mistakes!
If you want nice nails, that don’t fall off or get infected, AVOID JK NAILS AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Terrible service. Within one day of getting my nails done here, 2 nails had already come off, the nail varnish was done very messy also. When i went back, they tried to charge me another £12 to repaint it, and £10 to fix 2 nails. I was disgusted. JK nails do not care about the quality of the nails they provide, and are more concerned with how much money they will be making from you.

I’ve seen the previous reviews from 3/4 years ago. I’ve been to 3 nail places in the last year and JK Nails was far the best in terms of the nails lasting. My nails are straight for a start, shaped how I wanted them, I had dipping and that has lasted nearly 4 weeks on my fingernails and over 6 weeks on my toe nails. All nails bars are tight for time - you only have to do the maths to work why. I had one experience where the dipping came off on one of my finger nails and I went back the next day and they repaired it free of charge - which they should do if it comes off in less than 2 weeks. They are all friendly in there and I would recommend them. Businesses can learn from their mistakes and the previous reviews bear no relation to my experience in 2022. I hope this helps for anyone considering giving them a try!

Had my nails done today , had SNS here. I can honesty say worst experience of my life. She was talking to a friend so much she filed my nails down and buffed so hard i was in agony from being burnt, she then used drill and my cuiticles are red raw. Very unprofessional here. Im still in so much pain. Im a beauty therapist my self and know how it should be done.

Pretty disappointed. In fact the only thing I liked was the colour (which I chose). I had acrylic nails done here for the first time, I know they are false nails, but they really do look false. They aren’t straight and in line with my real nails, they look like they have just been stuck on half way down the nail, slightly across the nail and not at all in the right angle. I was dubious because of the bad reviews, but was passing and needed my nails done and didn't need an appointment here.

Went here after avoiding for several years because they were the only place open. Wish I hadn’t. Within a few days several nails had fallen off, and 2 had got fungal infections. Went back several times to try to get this rectified, but they were always “too busy”! 😡
