I came into this place tonight an hour before they closed, after leaving a salon earlier today that I went to on my lunch break during work and gave me the most absolute horrid nails, to the point I was crying when I left and they still forced me to pay... them after work again I come here, and not only did they go complete above and beyond what I expected with the girl who did my nails (Jessie) and the manager (not sure her name) there customer service and patience with me was AMAZING.. A coWorker and o went on friday(2days ago) after work. She had her NexGen removed and I got a full Gell set. I got a Gel fill and my eybrows . Her gel set is wrinkled and has air bubbles. I asked for shiny and the nail tech applied matte stated she didnt hear me and went over the matte with a shiny top coat but just on my right hand . Now my nails look dull on the right shiny on the left. My left hand the nails are not smooth. I can feel every flake of glitter and if I rub my arm ill scratch myself. Not to mention I showed the nail tech a design that I wanted she said she could do it and once she started painting them she couldn't. I also have tiny air bubbles in my nails. I could probably count the number of times on one hand that I've gotten a manicure and pedicure. This place takes the cake! I was prepping my hands/feet for engagement photos coming up and I was in for a treat :o). The weather happened to be a bit muddy outside so I suspect that had something to do with the low number of people inside. From other reviews it seems like it gets packed, so I was banking on the fact that it was raining no one wanted to get their nails done :o).... I walked in and asked for a manicure (full set) and a pedicure and they sat me right down. They offer you something to drink while they are working on you. I must have been doing my pedicure for what seemed like an hour. It was nice because not only did she give my feet a massage, but then she topped it off with a hot stone massage! That was quite pleasant. I asked for a french pedicure and she was so meticulous about making sure that white line was perfect on each toe. I did appreciate this as most other high end salons do a very poor job or use some sort of template to cheat! Not this lady! She hand painted and curved perfectly with her paint brush. My feet have never been softer or prettier! After the pedicure, it was on to giving me some solar nails (i guess that's the terminology). This was a very tedious process (for her not me) and I was yet again impressed by the precision and meticulousness she gave every finger. After about another hour she was done with my nails and I absolutely loved them! They look a lot more natural than other nails I've seen and she curved them and cut them just the way I asked. Folks here are very nice and it seems they have been in this spot for over a decade. I just moved here months ago, so I had no idea. They also seemed to have regulars that came in while I was there. I'm not sure what pricing is too high/too low for what I got. But I got a french mani and pedi and got a full set of nails (solar) for 65. The place was super chill. I'd recommend it. My friend and I came in about an hour before closing and they were cool about taking us. I got a French manicure and my friend got regular acrylic nails. Our nails came out stunning, and as we asked for, plus the prices are totally doable. Furthermore, the customer service was courteous and professional. My husband and I both LOVE Luxx Nail Bar. I first started coming while pregnant because I didn't want to smell harsh fumes or be around tons of toxic chemicals but I did want to be pampered. It does not smell bad AT ALL in this place. There are no toxic fumes- only herbal scents. The shop so clean and spaces . That is one reason it doesn't smell awful here. They do give amazing pedicures and nails ( I loved that they got a lot of nexgen and gels colors) Great massage and tota...lly worth the money not to have to smell noxious fumes and to be respected and treated kindly. The women who work here are genuinely nice and fun to talk to. Writing this review makes me want to go back asap! One time after getting a pedicure, I tripped right outside and messed up my toe nail polish and they very kindly fixed it up for me! They are so sweet and they provide very good service. I've never left a bad review on any nail salon or any place for that matter, but I just can't let this one go. I went to the nail salon for the first time today as soon as I walked in I thought to myself this is the nicest salon I've been to. I sat down with friends to get pedicures. I had gel on my toes that needed to be taken off so the lady attempted to remove the gel. She soaked the gel off then didn't even wait for it to get soft she scrapped my toe nails then took the d...rill off to file the gel off. She then continued to scrape when I told her she needed to soak the gel off more. She ignored me. I picked out a nail color and she painted my toes over some remaining gel that was left on my toes after I told her time and time again that is needed to be soaked more. And again I never complain, but I couldn't justify paying that much for a crappy paint job so I asked for someone different to repaint my nails. Over all this was the worst experience in my life that I've ever had at any nail salon even the crappiest looking ones were better than this. I am not a fan of the nails because they are way too thin and my nails were not shaped well and buffed. For the price I expect perfection. They do pretty good pedicures but most of the time I end up needing another scrub the next day. The drink are nice! Read Less
