It was a horible experience at this salon. I use to go somewhere else for my nails which they done perfectly nice and happy. As I work nearby I thought I would give 'Art of Nails' salon a try but it was done extremely badly.The lady in black and pink hair during powdering ended up all over my finger. The store downstairs is very small and compact and looks very unhygienic I definitely won't come back to her. Read Less

I am 8 months pregnant and usually go to the Art of Nails salon in Mildenhall. This particular day, Mildenhall was booked, so I opted for their sister shop in Bury St. Edmunds and went in expecting a pampered day for my pregnant mommy feet, but instead got a man who had no time for my feet, was quite rough, and passed me off to a young woman who had been there since April of 2017 who did not know how to do her job. The two young ladies there for pedicures were unprofessional and a glass jar fell over and broke in my foot bath. After the larger pieces were pulled out, there were still several shards left and I was told to put my feet BACK in the broken glass water. Needless to say, I got up out of the chair quickly and QUITE disappointed and put my shoes and coat back on to leave the shop. I was told I wouldn’t be charged anything, but I had already decided I wasn’t going to pay for such haphazard service. I left with unpainted toes and quite sad that my 8 month pregnant feet were not pampered in peace. Read Less

Staff are always really friendly whenever I've been, and they always do a great job to make customers feel welcome, and relaxed :) There is no doubt that they try their best to fit everyone in to get whatever it is they want done because they don't like to disappoint. I've been going to Art of Nails for years. What a friendly shop! They never fail to serve with a smile and they offer fabulous nail art! Their eyelash extensions last a long time and feel weightless. Done a really good job of the pedicure. It's just a shame they charge £31 each but their massage seats don't work and the water flow in the seat doesn't work either! Also quite awkward having to put your foot on someone's lap to be painted 🙈 Needs a bit of modernisation too. Read Less

My first visit here. Its been a few years since I've had acrylic nails and was feeling nervous when an older gentleman started working on my nails but he did a great job. Very patient and attentive. Mae was also very friendly and made myself and her client a coffee. My nails look great and I'll have no problem returning or recommending to others. Read Less

I'm amazed at the last two bad reviews.. Have been coming here for three years and have never had a bad manicure. Mae is extremely attentive and more than skilled in her art. Surely if you're not happy wouldn't it be better to tell the staff there and then as I know it would be corrected without hesitation. Got gel nails done, all different shapes and wrong sizes and all different lengths. Was not impressed also had to remove the nail polish that was on them as it was very rushed. Was told it would take 45 minutes but I was in there over an hour and a half. Had two different people doing my nails aswell. Read Less
