The owner is a fantastic nail technician, I always ask for him as he is very attentive and aims to please. It's very different to other places as the owner makes every customer feel important by managing his staff effectively; taking great care with customer requests. As for the other reviews I'm confident the owner has addressed any customer issues from his staff and you won't be disappointed with the quality, service or creativity at Longton Nails.

Been today lady who did my nails was rude to me I will not be returning and I will post on fb.
When choosing my glitter colour she moved the nail chart and I laughed why you laughing at me was her question.my response was I'm laughing at myself I carnt make my mind up.then to follow after sticking my nails on . a miss communication regarding base colour I thought she wanted that to be the colour not the glitter colour I had chosen.she said this I thought she meant pinky colour(NOT realising this is the base colour)she continued saying you choose it won't be right and pushed the colour chart to me.i said I wanted the glitter orange she said you don't want the one I said ( realising this the base colour ) i said oh yeah ill leave it to you she said you dont want that one.
She made me feel humiliated and a right idiot the shop was full of people (how embarassing for me I could of cried) the lady next to me heard her attitide and manerisuim and raised her eye brows at me. I said to her I had come to relax and treat myself today ( what a fool I am)
If the nails were not stuck on I would have walked out (what can you do in this situation they have got you under a barrell) shame really nails are nice when paying 30 pound I would normally tip a pound or two
And have my book stamped.
I said thankyou paid she asked if I had a stamp book no your alright ( NOT coming back) and I will share this with my friends people have lots of choices to go have their nails done you will loose customers with the above attitude.
Cannot give you no star will not let me

Always do a great job here. Only a short wait. The manager did mine and he had a good sense of humour and did great free hand nail art!

Nails were ok, lasted about a week and a half, were very painful during and the day after I got them done, but were fine after.
Customer service is very unwelcoming and hostile, kinda rough and not very friendly. Heard from somewhere that they had used teeth glue! Although, I can't find this information anywhere else so ill take it with a pinch of salt.
May go back if I'm willing to pay for a gel and acrylic set that might not last me two weeks.

I rate this 1 star because I had my nails done and they only lasted for a week. I would recommended this to anybody. It's a waste of money. I will not be going there again!! there crap!!!!!

The worst customer service I've experienced in years. As others have said its non existent. Left a bitter taste in my mouth and you couldn't pay me to go back.

The owner is a fantastic nail technician, I always ask for him as he is very attentive and aims to please. Customer service is very unwelcoming and hostile, kinda rough and not very friendly. Heard from somewhere that they had used teeth glue! Although, I can't find this information anywhere else so ill take it with a pinch of salt.
