I am sorry I have to put 2 stars because of the dirt in the place. Doing nails is dealing with people's skin, and hygiene. When I entered the bar, I didn't notice. I also didn't leave because the girl already started with my nails when I noticed. It is when I saw the dirty towel she put over my hands that I had a closer look around me. The girl who dealt with me (although she did an ok job) wore an apron so dirty. Her hands were dirty. The nail file was already used. The floor was horrible. I find it so appalling. How can you welcome and serve customer in such a dirty place???? How can you do someone else's nails when yours aren't even up to a professional standard? I hope I wont get any infection. Dreadful. If you want mis-shapen, overly thick uneven nails and abysmal customer service then this is the place for you. I have visited Miami four times now and have never received a positive customer experience, so my last visit will indeed be my last. On this occasion I booked an appointment - stupidly thinking this may merit some level of consideration from the people who work there. Apparently not. I arrived on time. Three people who arrived later than me were served ahead of me. Not one member of staff including the owner offered me an explanation. Presumably far too busy arranging coffees for themselves. As it turned out the young lady who was to do my nails was late. Lucky me. But I was left to figure that out for myself. No apology offered by anyone. Of course when any of the staff do arrive to work on your nails it is only after mobile phones have been checked and put on charge. This has been my experience every time without fail. Sometimes they even have to check each other's phones. Rest assured at some point they will get round to acknowledging your presence but only when they absolutely have to. Regardless of the above - if indeed this wasn't enough to put you off - my nails were awful. I did ask a few times for them to be shaped properly but all that happened was the shape on each remained massively inconsistent and the length simply got shorter and shorter. The finished nails were also ridiculously thick and uneven. I left Miami and went somewhere else to have the existing set removed and a new set put on. So why didn't I complain at the time? Well apart from not wanting to embarrass the young lady in front of her colleagues and other customers, something I'd witnessed earlier that morning convinced me any complaint would fall on deaf ears. One of the owners, or perhaps the owner's partner was off to a beauty show with some other members of staff. Leaving the store whilst still hollering back to a customer she knew, she announced that they were only going to focus on the beauty side of the show as "We could teach them about nails!!!!!" As a business owner and a customer, I would beg to differ. We can always learn more and we can always strive to better. Goodness knows there is definitely room for improvement at Miami. Read Less
