I have been going to The Happy Nails Salons for years out of convenience and they have always done a fairly good job for me. I have witnessed on so many occasions the extremely rude and abusive service from Sunny and the staff but luckily it wasn't directed at me until today... at the Emerson's Green Salon this morning all before 9:30 I have had the electric tools burnt through my nail, skin ripped from around my nails until they were bleeding and one overlay half chip off when he tried to paint. When I flinched and had mistakenly said 'ouch' or asked them to fix, I got bombarded with abuse from Sunny and the man doing my nails both stood around me shouting as I sat there, which was very intimidating. I was told "this is happy nails and you are miserable". I wanted to get up and leave! I know for sure now that I will never be using them again as a loyal customer it was appalling service! I left actually quite upset & angry! I have never been spoken to or treated like and had to pay for the privilege! Luckily Sunny is leaving and it will be under new management come September!

I can honestly say this Is my first review I am writing. I use to go to this place from long time ago when sunny use to work there, since he has gone the customer service and professionalism is so poor. They are extremely rude. They charged me £35 for a pedicure when they told me £30 and not to mention they applied the wrong colour. I wanted one of them pretty unicorn colours, after checking their colours I realised they didn't have the shade I wanted, so I told this to the older woman and she insisted they do, so ofcourse I was happy to proceed. She told me it will be £30 because it's gell colour, I thought to myself it's too expensive but really wanted this colour on my toes. So long story short they didn't have the colour I asked for and it was too late to just leave and they charged me extra £5 insisting they said £35. I previously went there twice aswel and it was bad service. I will definelty not be going back, It's a shame because the location was convenient for me. However they are very unprofessional, they spent more time talking loud on their phone rather than listening to their clients.

I’ve been going to sunnys since it has been open in kingswood and always had good quality acrylics. The last few times I went back to have infills my nails were not up to the standard that they used to be. I went back because 3 of nails had snapped after having them on for 6 days and when they fixed them they were bent and not the same shape as the others so they look odd. Also the top of my coffin shaped nails are not straight. When I was in the shop all the workers cared about was their phones and one of the workers sounded like they was arguing with somebody. I’m gutted to say this but I won’t be returning here.

I have been going to Sunny Nails for years and have never had a problem. I went to get a new set a few days ago and have never experienced such bad customer service, since Sunny has gone this place has gone down hill. The new staff are rude, rushed and very careless. When you ask them to be a bit softer they will just laugh. I will never be going back.

Been going here for years and was always happy with my nails, since Sunny and a few others left, the new staff have been pretty rude at times, a few times I have left with no colour on my acrylics as after seeing what they've painted them like I politely asked them to take the polish off as I could do a better job at home (probably with my eyes closed!). The last few times I've had it all, pulling my hand so hard that it hurts and when I've asked to be more careful they just talk to each other in their own language and laugh, asked for pointy and had to explain 10 times as he kept filing them oval etc. Well the last visit I've had will definitely be my last one ever, after seeing my nails I literally wanted to cry, was told I need a new set when I've had one not long ago, my own natural nail had grown a tiny bit underneath and he left it all curled up and sticking away from the acrylic (replaced this nail literally 2 weeks ago so don't understand why I would need new ones so soon), all nails are different length, not smooth, the surface is barely buffed, with chips and dents, literally shocking! Would not recommend unless your lucky to get the guy who has been there the longest, he's amazing but the new staff? Sorry I'll take my custom elsewhere!

New member of staff was rough, rushed, careless and rude. Really disappointed, my nails are of different lengths, rough edges, glue alll over my fingers and he literally threw the varnish over my nails! All for £25!!! what a joke!!! Came home, took all the varnish off, filed and revarnished myself- waste of time!!

Honestly one of the neatest, longest lasting shellac manicures i've ever had. I read the reviews below and I really think it depends on the brand of shellac you choose, the colour and what you're doing with your hands/nails on a daily basis. I always choose glittery or shimmery ones because I find they stay on at least a week longer (as opposed to the flat colour).. the latest manicure I had done at Sunny's genuinely lasted 3 weeks without chipping at all (I even filed them down at one point). Thanks again and look forward to using you again if i'm in that part of town.

Every time I have shellac done here they peel within a week. I go back and they may fix them but this then repeats. Don't spend £20 to have it done to just take more time out to get them fixed! Staff ...
Every time I have shellac done here they peel within a week. I go back and they may fix them but this then repeats. Don't spend £20 to have it done to just take more time out to get them fixed! Staff are lovely but maybe just don't know what they're doing when it comes to shellac.

I had one set of shellac nails removed and redone here, after they hadn't lastest very long from another salon. My nails are normally strong and in good condition. After removing the previous polish with a grinding machine, and then putting another coat of polish on, my nails started splitting and breaking within a week. I went back to ask them to remove the polish, which they did with a combination of soaking and the machine again. My nails are now a complete disaster. Discoloured, soft, and weak from having patches of previously healthy nail removed with the polish, they look terrible and are so soft and weak. I have had to spend a fortune on nail repair products.

I asked for almond shaped nails and I got oval....I asked for a Matt top coat and I got a glossy one! My nail technician was having an argument with a customer while doing my nails and it was just a bad experience for me! End result is good just wasn't what I asked for.

I have been going to The Happy Nails Salons for years out of convenience and they have always done a fairly good job for me. I have witnessed on so many occasions the extremely rude and abusive service from Sunny and the staff but luckily it wasn't directed at me until today... at the Emerson's Green Salon this morning all before 9:30 I have had the electric tools burnt through my nail, skin ripped from around my nails until they were bleeding and one overlay half chip off when he tried to paint. I use to go to this place from long time ago when sunny use to work there, since he has gone the customer service and professionalism is so poor. They are extremely rude. I’ve been going to sunnys since it has been open in kingswood and always had good quality acrylics. The last few times I went back to have infills my nails were not up to the standard that they used to be. I went back because 3 of nails had snapped after having them on for 6 days and when they fixed them they were bent and not the same shape as the others so they look odd. Also the top of my coffin shaped nails are not straight. When I was in the shop all the workers cared about was their phones and one of the workers sounded like they was arguing with somebody.
