I've been twice now and both times I've been very pleased. My nails were done how I asked and were not left too thick(as I've had in the past from a different shop) and they've lasted very well (especially with a busy household and housework).The shop is clean and modern with tv's to watch while your nails are done. My daughter had her first set of acrylics done here, nails were fine although the man who did them apparently had an appalling attitude towards her!! Tapped her hand with his nail file, abrupt and rude!! Also rude to another customer who came in to complain!! Deffo won't be going back or recommend!! Seemed to be fine to regulars who knew him!! My mum told the person who worked inside there that I am deaf might need take off the mask while speaking with me. The lady who sat opposite me helping me to understand by what I wanted. She knew I was deaf then it was our turn to sit down. The guy who made nails for me was forgot that I'm deaf the lady remind him to remove mask. He was happy to do it and explained what I wanted I show him the picture that this shop made for someone which I absolutely love it. 1 * is to much tbh My daughter went up for her nails. Whilst she was waiting the nail technician cut a customers finger whilst doing her nails. My daughter then had her nails done and the technician done the same to her. It was a very bad experience for my daughter. My daughter went in to have French manicure acrylics. When she came home and showed me they looked bloody stupid. The white tip started halfway down her nail they were hideous. Took her down to get fixed and sunny was saying it was because she bites her nails they were also flicked up at the end but this is also cause she bites her nails. Funny as when she has had her nails done elsewhere they come back fine obviously they can't do them on short nails in this shop. I used to get my nails done in Bristol but decided to try Happy Nails as its closer to home. A few of my friends go there so I booked in for today. I had in fills and painted shellac and had a pedicure and my toenails painted shellac in the same colour. I was very happy with the results and will be going back again. It was quick, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this nail bar. As I was leaving Sunny said if I had any problems with what had been done to go back. That was reassuring. Read Less

Omg just went to happy nails and I literally am in love! They close at 630 and I rang up 530 asking if it's too late to be told "it's never too late" after being turned away from other salons I then get to the salon and the technician gave me the most perfect nails The owner is what every shop needs someone happy to be at work and chats to their clients ... My mum came into the salon today for a set of gel nails and she requested the holographic powder. The owner sunny did these nails and although she said she wanted the holographic powder he tried to say no it's rose gold chrome. He then advised that she should have acrylic powder as her nails are weak and this would strengthen them for the gel and powder. He then watered down a substance with what we think is nail varnish remover and wiped the nails with this and the gel polis...h did not take to the nails he then got annoyed with this and passed her over to another colleague who then removed all the acrylic and gel. My mum had already explained that she needed to be somewhere and she had already been sat for an hour just for a set of gels. The other colleague tried to adjust the gel and it still didn't take. There was no apology or compensation for this and because of this my mum has now had to go to a wedding with ruined nails and a cut finger. This place is a joke, I had a set of glitter tips done monday and they all snapped off within a day! Mainly because there using cheap plastic pre glittered tips that won't stick on properly so they needed to use a whole tub of super glue just to get them on that weakens the nail tip.... it's not rocket science..... I messaged sunny on fb and he said he will sort them as there trailing new products ect.... went in the shop today and he spoke to me like mud off his shoe and acc...used me of lieing by saying I snapped them off myself! Some customer service! If he seriously thinks I wasted £24 for nothing to snap them off then the guys a fool! Not to mention wasting over a hour in his shop for fuck all when I have a one year old to care for! He then tells me if I want another set I have to pay.... when it's his fault they snapped off, it's not my fault he uses cheap products that don't last! This also completely contradicts saying I snapped them off as I wouldn't of wanted another set then! The guys got a serious attitude problem probably because he gets drunk everyday and is hung over. I won't be coming there again and I'll be telling my friends and family not to. I had the chrome nails done at happy nails and within a couple of days the chrome kept chipping off. I spoke to them and they were more than happy to fix my nails which I was pleased about. Only til I got home I noticed that the man who redone all my nails used the gold chrome on top of silver (which wasnt asked for) and left one of my little fingers silver! & even second time around they are chipping again! It's such a shame as the owner is a nice bloke just maybe should change a few of the products they use.
