Eyebrow Microblading: Had my first session the start of February, I found Anja very friendly and professional. She was very helpful with giving her professional opinion, answered all questions and also let me chose my colour. I have a drop to one of my eyes which leaves one of my eyebrows a little off balance, Anja was great with being honest and advising me on what’s best to do but still letting me know she will go with whatever I want. I took her advise and went with following my shape as I didn’t want one to look more tattooed than the other... she done a brilliant job! I didn’t find it painful at all, no numbing gel and I actually found it quite relaxing. I listened to the aftercare and didn’t have any scabbing which I hear people do have, my eyebrows did fade a tiny bit but not as much as others said they do. I then went for my top up session yesterday, which I’m over the moon with. Knowing now what I wanted to change about the shape and to go a darker colour, Anja was once again very professional and made them even better than before... they look amazing. My advice would be to tell Anja exactly what look youre going for and what you want, nobody’s a mind reader and she will listen to what you want. She’s fab!! I had gaps from overplucking as a teenager and had to fill them in every day, but now they’re perfect without anything. I’m so so pleased. I went to nails in the city four days ago to book a consultation for electrolysis treatment. The lady working there was so welcoming, I had my son in a buggy and she helped me through she opened the door wide for me to able to enter with the buggy, she even helped me carry the buggy the few steps at the entrance. She told me the lady responsible for electrolysis treatment is away for holiday and will be back in two days. After two days I called to take an appointment for co...nsultation and I was given an appointment today at 2 pm.( which was the following day) Upon arrival I asked if someone can help me open the door wide to get the pushchair in. The lady responsible for electrolysis came out to tell me the door was broken and she doesn't want to touch it or to do try to open the other panel. When I asked when was it broken she said last week so I told her that I was here four days ago and he colleague opened it for me( it was trying to assure her that it's not broken anymore) and I actually managed to open the lower lock at this moment. She said I'm the business owner here and no I don't want to attempt to open it and she closed the lock I opened. She asked me if I can fold the buggy I said I'd rather not get my child out so as to keep him inside the buggy during the consultation and taking him out would let him not want to sit back in the buggy when we go inside. She asked me if I can leave him with somebody I said I haven't got someone to leave him with. I asked her if she wants to cancel the consultation she said no. Then she said when u can't have ur child later in the treatment sessions, I said iwont have him later in the sessions I just had to bring him with me today in the consultation. Then she said well it states clearly on our website that we don't allow children in our salon. So the only thing I could do was to cancel my consultation and leave with great disappointment. N.B when we spoke over the phone to make the booking I mentioned that I'll bring a baby with me and she said it's going to be tricky bcoz of the steps so I said we managed to carry pushchair last time it's ok and she mentioned nothing about kids not being allowed. Whatever a place's policy is I respect it; what I can't accept is the lying and saying the door is broken when a colleague of her managed to open it a few days ago. Also after arriving for a consultation letting me leave just bcoz I had a baby with a pushchair that she doesn't want to open the door for. Complete disappointments from such welcome, from the way the conversation went and I definitely DON'T recommend the place, because no matter how clever a business is; if they don't know how to treat clients they don't deserve them. I had infills for my nails - took a little bit longer than expected as the lady was less experienced, but my nails look great and my cuticles look healthier than they have been in a long time! I've been going to Nails in the City for a few months now and I can honestly say I've thoroughly enjoyed every trip there. I've tried a few different treatments as well as having acrylic nails and the service is impeccable. Anja and her lovely team make you feel very welcome and I would recommend this place to everyone. I particularly love Anja's attention to detail during my microdermabrasion sessions and always look forward to the face massages afterwards, a service I've never had before when having this treatment at other establishments.
