i have been a customer for 3 years and i am sad to say this is going downhill.Usually the price occasionally goes up the odd poun and takes about an hour. However this time it was awful.I got my usuall full set of acrylics done but this time added diamantes. At the end of the TWO hours the man started counting all the diamantes and charged me £1 per diamante.so they had increased from £3 per nail to £1 per diamante.I was not told about thsi price increase before the nail. All together costing £55 for the set.I have no problem paying this but i was £3 short and the lady made me come back to give £3 knowing i always pay every month for the last two years.i came back and paid and two weeks later they simply fell off as if they were £1 primark stick ons.I have messaged them and an waiting for a reply.Honeslty this is so baddd.Even if i paid £25 they should not be falling off after two weeks.I work in an office not as if it isi my own fault through knocking themJust bare this in mind if you decide to go.The photos have been taken on the day and then today when they fell off clean. Done a great job of my nails. Very pleased with the outcome. Only improvement would be to upgrade nail polishes and some of the equipment. Other than that great staff and great nails.

I don't think that my experience at Nail Jic could have gone any worse.
First I was shown the wrong set of colours I could have for nails, so when it came to actually having my nails done I had to decide on new colours on the spot.
I chose a plain colour and was told that I could have glitter on top, free of charge. Whereas I was told I would have to pay an extra £5 for this glitter. I informed the man who done my nails that I had been told they are free but he refused.
The man who done my nails done an AWFUL job. My nails were not filed the same shape, the nail varnish was patchy and streaky, and the glitter was rough and bumpy from using old glitter and not putting a top coat on top of the glitter.
There was also a lot of fluff that was stuck to my nails from what looked like cotton wool which the man did not remove.
After I was told my nails were dry and I was ready to leave, I put my bag over my arm to find out my nails were still damp as they had smudged.
When I went to the desk to pay, I showed the man my student card because I had double checked BEFORE I had my nails done that I could get student discount. The man refused my student card and still charged me even more than full price as he had also charged me for the £5 glitter which was supposed to be free.
Instead of £17 (£20-£3 student discount), I ended up paying a stupid amount of £25 just for shellac nails.
I rung the store after I left and explained that I was not happy with my nails but I did not want to kick up a fuss in store in front of customers as that could lead to giving the salon a bad look. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and would not listen to what I had to say. She told me that I am in the wrong and that I was told there was no student discount and I was told about the extra £5 charge before I had my nails done, which was not the case. I was told there is no way I could have any kind of refund.
I ended up having to hang up on the woman as she told me she was not going to let me speak and she continued to talk to me very angrily and not in a sympathetic tone.
Overall I am absolutely disgusted with the outcome of not just my nails, but the customer service as a whole. The 2 people that work here dealt with my complaint in such an unprofessional way. I will definitely NOT be going back here ever again. I'd rather spend my money else where. Read Less
