Had my nails done with Chloe.. .almost 4 weeks on they are still looking lovely, need infills so won't hesitate to return, in fact I'm going today, can pay with card too which for me is a huge bonus. Wow, went in for a mani/pedi. Clean salon, decor was calming, nice quiet place. However, later when I was walking down Main Street, they wouldn't let me use their restroom. Very rude! I was alone....I am a big believer in treating people the way you would want to be treated. Will not be going back! Read Less

Staff were lovely and friendly but as soon as i sat down to have my nails done i had concerns over the many signs saying "no refunds nails last a minimum of one week" as I was paying £30 for a set of gel nails i would expect them to stay strong for at least two weeks. I noticed when having them done the tips seemed very flimsy and thin compared to other salons and within 6 days of having the nails put on two of them fell off and another 1 was loose which i was very unhappy about. I will not be returning and would recommend using other salons such as the ones in town. Read Less

IF YOU WANT YOUR NAILS WRECKED COME HERE, BUT IF YOU WANT THEM DONE PROPERLY GO ELSEWHERE!!!! From abysmal filling to hap-hazardous usage of the drill. After getting shellacs done 4 days ago my nails are incredibly chipped and broken. They are an inconsistent shape due to horrific filling and are ridiculously thick as I had been served by a trainee with sloppy painting skills. When my nails were being drilled before the shellac, i had to shield my eyes as previous gel was being filed off a mile a minute and bits were going everywhere. Several pieces ended up in my hair . When i returned this afternoon for a refund as my nails were beyond help. The guy informed me that they had a no refund policy which had not been mentioned before and i couldn't see it on their website nor was there evidence of this in the store. To top it off the salon is dirty and seems to be the only salon to allow kids in for extensions and has such a strong, chemical smell , so myself and my mum were left feeling dizzy and nauseous . This is due to the products left out and uncovered in an unprofessional manner. During my experience there i was moved around several times and was served by a minimum of 3 people. Personally I can't bear the idea of false nails, and would never consider wearing them, but each to their own.My friend got her nails done here recently because she couldn't get an appointment with her usual nail technician (is that what they're called?) at the last minute. She was pretty pleased with how quickly they did them, and happy with how they looked. Apparently the full set of nails set her back £20 - but they have stayed put for several weeks, which she seems pretty pleased about (I'm not sure how long they usually last?). This place doesn't only do false nails, however - they will also manicure and paint your own nails if you don't want falsies. Read Less

I don't go a bundle on false nails these days, but I have a few friends that swear by them, all of whom use a different salon. As far as I can gather Nail Art is one of the better ones. They offer a broader range of of styles and techniques than some of the others. But, if your own nails aren't good enough you'll be advised to go for one of the various false nail options available, and could walk out with great looking nails, but at least £30 worse off. If however, your nails are short, and you like them that way, the therapists at Nail Art won't pressurise you into having false nails applied, and will paint them up quite happily for you in your chosen style. They will even do one or two nails for you if money is a tad tight and you are looking for something to brighten your day without taking out a bank loan. Read Less
