GLASTO REVIEW: I want to start by saying the staff I met during my appointment were very nice and friendly, unfortunately I cannot say any good things about the service I received. It started by about 3 different people shampoo'ing and conditioning my hair. I have very thick and long'ish hair and the roots and underneath of my hair were not washed properly and some places still dry. The blow dry was dreadful and one of the worst I have ever received at a hair dressers. I coul...d see I would not be happy with the end result if I let the stylist carry on so I asked if I could straighten my hair myself - what's the difference from me sitting there and the stylist straightening it or me right? I'd already paid for the time and the service (£42!!) so in effect I'm saving them money doing it myself. Initially I was told I wouldn't be allowed but 5 mins later I was given a DIY seat and told I had 10 mins (to sort out the mess that had been made!) with a non brand flimsy pair of straightners! There was no way they would get through my hair so I asked for some cloud nines and they were more than happy to get me some (phew!) the 10mins allocated was very tight for me to sort my hair out but I did manage to rush through it. I want to reiterate that the people there were lovely and I'm sure under less stressful situations (it was so busy there!) I might have had a better experience. I was so looking forward to having a nice do after 4-5 days there and by the end I was utterly disappointed. I think if I was go to again I would be booking a DIY slot! Mehr anzeigen Read Less

I have visited glamour twice now and had both my hair cut by Lola and eyebrows shaped by Emma. On both occasions the girls were so attentive and friendly, making me feel at ease immediately! Lola did such an amazing job at my hair, in fact, I was almost bought to tears. I hope she liked her flowers as a 'thank you'. I haven't felt so good about my hair in years!!! Thanks you girls!
