Disgusted with this salon and Very disappointed with the service wouldn't go again. The staff talk rudely about clients as soon as they've left infront of other customers. I witnessed this when I took my daughter in for the first time. I didn't like that I thought and could have been one of those customers, but didn't make it to my next appointment as I was told not to come in due to no one wanting to do my massage for me. I was offered no reason why and hardly any notice. called 20mins prior to my appointment time after waking up early, sorting kids backpacks to drop my children at my mums (who stays the other side of Glasgow). I was looking forward to an hour of relaxing and having abit of me time and done a lot of preparation the day before just for to be told 20 mins before my appointment to come another time. Some of us can't just come on a whim and shouldn't be treated so disrespectfully as I was when I explained this to the woman on the phone she offered no compassion and didn't care one bit. I should have been told atleast a couple of hours before if not the day before!!! Terrible communication and horrible attitude towards customers. Now I have only been to this place once and that was for a Hollywood wax. For anyone who doesn't know what this is, it is an all of wax for the nether regions of us lady's (apologies for too much info). Now when you get in to Goddess you can see that it is a lovely place but the size is extremely deceiving and by that I mean it looks smaller than it actually is; I was very surprised. With the nail bar, fish pedi and another room up the stairs and then down below there were a few treatment rooms and one of them was where I got the wax. The therapist that met with me was nice and friendly and talked me through the usual process and asked if I could be pregnant and to this I replied "yes, 12 weeks" and she acknowledged this and asked me to get myself ready and on to the treatment bed, this I did and she came back in a few minutes later. So we started with some general chit chat while she waxed and I can remember thinking to myself "ooh this is sorer than usual" but I just put this down to being pregnant and let her continue. 20 mins later we were done and she asked me to get myself ready and meet with her back up the stairs. Now usually the therapist would come back in after you checked yourself to make sure everything was to your standards but not this time; I have myself a check anyway and there was blood everywhere all over the paper topping. My first thought was my baby because of the way she was hardly sapping the wax but then I realised that the hot wax had actually burnt and blistered my skin. It was safe to say I paid and got out of there as soon as possible, never to return again. I later found out that she should not have waxed me because I was in my first trimester and this leads he skin to be more sensitive and susceptible to skin problems when getting waxed. Read Less
