I've heard mixed reviews about Polish but I decided I should check out the place myself, which led me to never coming again. I've seen really complex designs being posted so I didn't think the simple design I requested would be any issue. I wanted this certain tape on my nails so the workers said I had to get acrylic nails so it would stick. So I did, but my manicurist couldn't get the tape right then the same workers said the tape wasn't worth using and to just use nail polish, which made no sense as to why I was told to get acrylic in the first place. My nails ended up messing up as they were trying to fix them. They were attentive to fix my issue and they looked nice which is why I gave it a 3/5 but the golds ended up not matching after I made a comment about that and not what I wanted at all. Read Less

To end this year I want to congratulate Leah and the girls in her staff! Nelly, Luty, Nanis, Vero, and Karla are my favorite people because they not only take care of me every two weeks but my girlies once a month. I have had the best experience here because of the staff's positive attitudes and their ability to accommodate my appointments at all times. Was there this morning and I hated my experience. The only reason I went was because my sister had a gift card and insisted I go with her. Everything went well until applying the shellac he did such a bad job that there's creases on the side of my nails where it meets with my skin not to mention he failed to paint some of the sides. Even after finishing he had to use clipper to cut some of my skin off that was stained with polish and as far as even removing some with a machine.The only way I can explain is that my nails look like they were store bought and I put them on myself. Unprofessional and inattentive. As you walk in you are asked to sign in but then that is it. The staff doesn't ask what you are here for and they just need you and don't acknowledge your presence. After half an hour of seating waiting for someone to ask or even look @ the sign in sheet to see what service I wanted I decided to ask "How much longer for a threading service?" The owner says "I have another manicure and then that is it" I explained to her that I sat through her l...ast manicure waiting and she didn't even acknowledge I was waiting. She said "I'm the only one that does the threading, Sorry." I understand places are busy but I believe that acknowledging the client and letting them know you will be right with them is a must. This is not the first time they have done this but I decided to give it other chances. This was probably my sixth visit here due to Laredo not having many places that offer threading. Needless to say the customer service is still awful after six visits. On one ocassion she passed me to the threading room and left me there for half an hour until I went out and she said "Oh I forgot so sorry." Overall I gave it several chances.
