Very disappointed in my trip to Beauty Temple tonight. This was my first time, and as I'm soon to go on holiday, I decided to treat myself to getting my nails done at a more upscale place. It was £22 all together, £2 more than I'd usually pay (or so I thought) to get my gels taken off and new gels on my normal nails. For starters, I'd booked my appointment for 5:45pm but had to wait 25 minutes. When I asked why it was taking so long, they had my appointment down as 6pm. I distinctly remember telling the lady on the phone that I finished work at 5:30pm and worked just around the corner, so she said they had a space at 5:45pm. This was clearly put into the system wrong and therefore I waited until almost 6:10pm. I was given no apology for this, but the situation was simply brushed off. I didn't catch the name of the beautician who served me but she was lovely - the only positive aspect of my trip. However, my nails look so messy, it's as if I've sat and done them myself. The colour has spread onto my cuticles and the top of my fingers, and they clearly needed another coat as you can see some of the nails through the colour. I then went to pay, and was told it'd be £27. They claimed it costs £5 to take gels off. I was completely baffled. Of all the nail bars I've visited over the past five or so years of getting my nails done, I've never known taking gels off to cost £5. It's ridiculous. Some tin foil, cotton wool and bit of nail polish remover apparently costs £5. I left, still with no apology for my 25 minute wait caused by their booking mistake. Thankfully, they didn't charge me the £5 for the gel take-off as I was never made aware of this extra charge when booking. But that simple wasn't enough to redeem the experience. Read Less

I come in to Beauty Temple every month to get my gel nails done with Hannah. She is WONDERFUL- so friendly, creative and professional. I always leave with a huge smile on my face... and, of course, totally fabulous nails! Read Less

I have had my hair done twice now it’s Hayley and all I can say is amazing 😊she listens to what I want and totally understands me and my hair needs 😊she is a lovely and bubbly hair dresser and I always come away feeling fab. Absolutely love getting my nails done here! The salon is beautiful and all the staff are really friendly. I get my nails done with Hannah, I wouldn't go anywhere else now because of how amazing she does my nails. Hannah listens to what you want and offers choice of colour and design. Also because I now come on a regular basis she informed me of offers where you can pay for so many treatments in one go and it saves you money in the long run. Cant wait to try more treatments here! I also recommed this salon to all my friends and family because of how great the service is here. Having staff like Hannah make it such a nice friendly environment which gives off such a lovely warm vibe! Read Less

what a lovely place. my husband and I had been married for 17 years on Saturday and went to Nottingham for an over night stay, i thought i would treat us to a massage each. we had the double room so that we could be done together. I had a lady called Karen she was lovely made me feel at ease and it was the best massage i have ever had. unfortunately we cant remember the other lady's name but she was equally as good. we were offered a free glass of champagne due to the fact that the music wasn't working. we felt completely relaxed it was a lovely atmosphere. we will be back next time we visit Nottingham. thank you for making it a special anniversary. My first time here while I'm on vacation. I very much needed a massage from lugging my suitcase and backpack around Europe & the U.K. Lovely staff. Great massage. I did learn something though; North America deep tissue is different than what is here. What I asked for is considered sports medicine. But she still did a great job loosing up my left side. Thanks! What a truly indulgent experience; from the incredibly attentive and professional staff, beautiful decor, amazing champagne bar to the most relaxing hot stone massage. I simply can't convey the words to describe this tranquil beautiful jewel, hidden right in the middle of the hubbub of a busy town centre. I visited with some friends to experience a Royal Baby Shower. This was like no other baby shower I've ever been to previously... and don't get me started on those glitter ball cocktails - wow!
