Very ordinary. We waited ages and then were charged £40 for a pedicure I am sure he ripped us off as we were tourists.

I had this manicure done on Saturday -it's Tuesday and my polish is already chipped on almost every finger. Waste of £25, which was quoted as £20 when I first sat down, but I was rushed and had no time to dispute - why not say £25 before I sit down? Oh, and when he sliced my finger causing bleeding, did he mention anything? No. He sheepishly looked to his left and refused to make eye contact, pretending not to notice anything before swiftly swapping to another manicurist.

Thus far, this is the best experience/value for the money in Harrogate. I have tried several nail salons and have been seriously underwhelmed. I am sure as an American I have a different set of expectations regarding skill level, service, and price. This place has the skill set! No amateurs here. And the prices are very reasonable. As far as the normal pampering service you get standard in the US (and can't even seem to pay for here) I'm giving up. The only real downside to this place is that it is cash only. Which came as a nasty little surprise when I happened to glance up and over mid manicure and saw the sign. Thank goodness I had some cash on me-something that never happens.

Wouldn't even give it a 1 star. Didn't do my nails but they did my friends eyelashes and they were appalling. My friend wasted £20 on plastic eyelashes glued with cheap glue. Probs could've just spent...
Wouldn't even give it a 1 star. Didn't do my nails but they did my friends eyelashes and they were appalling. My friend wasted £20 on plastic eyelashes glued with cheap glue. Probs could've just spent £1 on primary lashes and they would've looked better . Couldn't even get a refund
