Needed to wax my eyebrows, went there on a whim without an appointment, and the lovely front desk lady managed to squeeze me in since it's a short procedure. I felt pleased about that. Lovely waiting area, reasonable prices and great ambience, very soothing indeed. Although I wasn't 100% pleased with the outcome (my eyebrows weren't as defined as I liked), the beautician was really very nice and patient with me and went the extra mile. Salon is a beautiful and elegant environment. The products used in facial are lovely. Reception staff are friendly, however I would change therapist next time. Lady did not attempt to build rapport and gave very little explaination of the products (or what she was doing). The experience, sadly, didn't feel like a treat. Booked an appointment online for a facial and brows. I turned up last Friday to find out, only by asking, that they had no booking for my brows. I told them it had been confirmed by email but I obviously wasn't believed as it wasn't on their system! The girl offered to do my brows anyway and I agreed as they needed doing. I then had what can be described as the quickest roughest facial ever; quickly rubbing in products and wiping them away. Very quick very rushed and nothing ...relaxing at all. When I went to the desk to pay I showed my email confirmation of the facial and brow 1hr 30 appointment and I asked why my treatment had been one hour only. I was told bluntly that the email was wrong it is 1 hr for a facial (but I had brows done also) and I was then charged the full price. I also have an email direct from a member of staff saying the facial is 1hr 15 mins which would then fit with a 15 minute brow shaping as originally booked. How can you charge the same price for a 1hr appointment squashing in 2 services when you offered that price for a 1hr 30 appointment time. On my pre-treatment form I said I was going for relaxation yet I came away more stressed than when I entered the salon. The salon did nothing to rectify the error they made nor charge appropriately. Since this I was asked to complete a review online. I did but it hasn't been published on the my local salon website (despite others on and after that date with positive reviews being published) I also asked someone to contact me and again this hasn't been done.
