This will be the second time me and my husband came here and let me tell you I will not step foot back in that door. The first time we went was a phenomenal experience. We were greeted and offered something to drink. It was my first time taking my husband to a nail spa and I wanted him to feel comfortable. He really enjoyed it and wanted to go back for a second time. Today I went back and I wasn’t greeted at the door. In fact we both walked in and no one asked how can I help ...you. No matter what nail salon I go to someone always greet you or you sign in. There was nothing!!! One of the ladies came and asked the other people waiting what they wanted and the lady told her. The lady them stated this lady (me) was here as well and need service. She said don’t worry we are short. Didn’t even look in my direction and asked me if they can assist. I drive all the way from Baltimore City to do my nails here. It’s hard to find a place that’s skilled and clean. I love that they protect their foot tubs with sanitary bags that they throw after every use. The wait is never long even without an appointment. I was in to get a pedicure and a basic manicure. The gentleman that was doing my manicure was mad because I didn’t want gel or sns. When I told him a 3rd time I wanted a basic manicure he barley shaped my nail... slapped polish on.. was rude... I even ask do you not want to do my nails? He ignored me! My nails chipped within 1 day! I had made this appointment over a week prior to going in. This was my second bad experience and I won’t go back! My girlfriend went there a few weeks ago. When she was finished, she discovered her car was towed. Her complaint was that she wasn't told she couldn't park her car in the lot next door, and she chewed out the staff for not warning her. I heard there have been other incidents like this involving other customers. If Vibrant cared about their clientele then why wouldn't they tell them the neighboring lot is a tow away zone? This review is long overdue!! Vibrant nail bar is absolutely amazing. The sisters run an awesome family business. All techs are so friendly and offer great customer service. I always get a Vibrant pedicure and a SNS manicure and let me tell you, their pedicure will be the longest and best pedi you'll ever get. The SNS manicure is great, I've found that the way they do it here, your nails don't get damage (as evidenced by a smooth nail surface when you take them off instead of leaving a ridge in your nails if you know what I mean). I have been coming here for about a year. Unless they decided to move somewhere else I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have always had great service! Ofcourse, like any nail salon where there are many techs working there have been some times where I was not satisfied with it but I also am the type of person that is very particular and usually stick to one nail tech.... Nam, Vu, and Emily are all amazing at what they do! I am always 100% satisfied with their work. I've never had ...to wait, but I also make appointments. I read such great reviews I thought I would give it a try. I will say it's relatively clean but not exceptional so like some reviews I read. I like that they use fresh new tub liners for pedicures but the fact that the water stopper and jets are not cleaned after each service defeats the purpose. There is a large selection of color to choose from which I loved and my nail technician was great...very detailed. The guy that did my pedicure was different and strongly encouraged ...me to do a pedicure I didn't ask for. I'm not a fan of pushing salesmen. He didn't even offer me something to drink like I see others were offered. Another tech did. For the increased cost of the pedicure I think it's average; not worth it but he was overall very nice and a good job. The staff in general were very nice. The salon itself is very busy but there was no wait. If your looking for soothing music, no television, and just quiet, look for another salon; but if you are okay with the average atmosphere of nail salons than this one is a good one to visit overall. My friend and I were walk ins to each get a classic pedicure; when we got there we expected to only be there for 25 minutes, but we were there for close to a hour. It was greatly appreciated because both of us felt as if the nail technicians truly cared about us. We were constantly offered free drinks, asked if everything that the technicians were doing was comfortable for us, and they asked us questions to get to know us as people rather than just as clients in a massage cha...ir. Every member of the staff went above and beyond what either of us had ever experienced at other nail salons in the area. The whole salon was clean and you could tell how meticulous the staff must be when cleaning their stations and the salon in general. The $25 price tag for a classic pedicure is low in comparison to the service that my friend and I experienced. I couldn't imagine how wonderful the other two pedicure services must be or how amazing all of the other services must be as well. Worst pedicure ever! After being told to wait for' few minutes only', sat there waiting for over 30min. Pedicure was finished in 15min. All she did was remove old varnish, scrub tidy a little bit... and that's it ( I didn't need varnish)! My feet looked exactly the same before and after.
