Very disappointed. Got shellac done on Thursday for a wedding on Friday and it had chipped within 24 hours of having it done. It was a mess for wedding. When I called them I was told there was nothing they could do as there was no guarantee with shellac. I understand there is no guarantee but for £35, it should last longer than 24 hours so I find it quite shocking. Will definitely not be returning. Read Less

Wow wow wow, I found the beauty bar on Groupon and it's by far the best salon I've been to while been here in America for over a year. Stacey did a fantastic job on my hair before my holidays and consulted me on what was the best for my hair she really knows what she is doing and i put all my belief in her and she didn't let me down. Found The Beauty Bar Design Studio via Groupon as I recently moved to the area and don't really know many people here to get recommendations for places to get my hair done. I was definitely not disappointed in my experience. Valencia did an AWESOME job with my color and Stacey dis a FANTASTIC job with my cut and style. I am honestly very particular about getting my hair done and it usually takes me a while to find somewhere to get my hair done. I went to Elite Nails for a few years and they are the best nail saloon i have ever been too. I don't agree with some of these comments - I felt so at home and a lovely friendly service and customers interacting with each other. Very reasonably priced and my nails were in perfect condition and lasted for weeks. I moved to Castle Douglas and have just had my nails done here and they are TERRIBLE - I could have done a better job. I had extensions which are wonky - all misshaped and cuticles hardly pushed back - bubbles in the gel. SHOCKING. Girls I love it here and so happy but I SOOOO miss having my nails done with you - need to book a trip to Edinburgh in the near future. Mandy xx Read Less

The sisters who run Elite nails take their jobs VERY SERIOUSLY! Though not the most easy going and relaxed service you'll ever get you won't care because they do an absolutely beautiful job.You can chat elsewhere! I've had calgel extensions there and they last a lot longer than anywhere else I've had them done and cost £45 which is middle of the range but really top quality. Highly recommended.Read Less
