Excellent experience at Pure Nail Bar of New Tampa! Had a Diamond Dip manicure by Lisa. Absolutely beautiful! I selected the Lemon Deluxe pedicure and was fortunate to get Tai as my technician. Worth every dollar spent. I feel like I have never had a true "deluxe pedicure" until today. I will be a long time customer. This is the best nail salon ever! Lisa always does my nails with the SNS (Diamond Nail) and they are perfect! She always takes her time and makes sure they are great when I leave. I love the diamond nail because it doesn't damage my nail as much as acrylic. I am very thankful that they have this service! Read Less

The lady who did my nails was great! However, the guy taking payment was horrible! No customer service skills at all. The prices they have posted online are not what they charge in the salon nor do they have them displayed in the salon.....basically the price is based on how they feel that day. Oh and don't bother to try and use the coupon they have on the Facebook page, because they will look at you like you are robbing them of $5 when you try to redeem the very thing they are advertising! Can't say enough wonderful things about this beautiful, clean nail spa! - This was my review back in 2013. Since then my opinion has changed. I was there Wednesday for a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. Needless to say, the services were so poor that I only had the pedicure and immediately went elsewhere for the remaining services. The lady doing the pedicure rushed through the service, did not file or buff my nails, and didn't touch my cuticles. I had to ask her to fully remove my... old nail polish, as she had already begun applying the new nail polish....while the old was still on. It was a Wednesday morning and most of the employees were sitting around on electronic devices, so I am not sure why she was in such a rush, other than the fact that she just didn't care about the services she was providing. I felt like I was inconveniencing her. There was no language barrier, as there was some verbal interaction that she fully understood (me telling her she needed to remove the old nail polish before applying the new). After the pedicure, she took me to the manicure area where she had me place my fingers into a bowl of COLD water while she went to the back to dispose of the dirty linens from my pedicure. I was blatantly ignored by the male employee sitting at the next station when I asked if Lilly was working that day. I guess whatever he was doing on his iPad was more important than addressing my question. At that point, I was so done. I went to the desk and asked to settle up for my pedicure (which in hindsight was a mistake because I should have refused to pay for such a terrible pedicure). The gentleman at the counter who I think is the owner's husband, did not ask for details as to what was wrong with the services. Clearly he didn't really care either. I did not tip her but I did pay for the pedicure which again, I should not have. I will NOT be back to this establishment, which is unfortunate because it was formerly my favorite place in town.
