Had my nails done here quite a few times and always treated me very well and done a great job as well as free two nails when they had broken (Probably due to using my hands often) Inly issue I have and its not a massive one but sometimes you have to wait a while to be seen as it gets very busy Read Less

Went to this salon yesterday. Now I do have short nails, but have had shellac on my short nails before and it's never been a problem. The technician left residue all round the edges of my nails and the owner tried to say at first that the nail polish is runny...then tried to blame it on my short nails. So now I have blobs of nail polish around the edges of my nails which I can't get off. Looks a mess. Read Less

Today I received a wax and tint on my eye brows. I have been once before and it was my first time ever having a wax and tint. The woman who saw me the first time was alright. Today I had a 'trainee' who burnt my face. I went in only wanting a tint but the owner convinced me to get a wax too. She sat me down and begun explaining to the woman what to do in front of me which to me, seemed like she was still fairly new to tinting and waxing. I have had my eyebrows done in other salons before so have enough experience to know a good wax from a bad one! I let her begin and told her exactly what I wanted, I was very descriptive because I was hesitant that she might get it wrong. The first wrong doing she did was coat on loads of tint without offering me a skin test and when I looked in the mirror she had pretty much covered my entire upper eye. (I wanted thin eyebrows). She also accidentally printed the tint on my forehead without telling me so my skin was tinted also. I had to scrub this off. They were done unevenly. When she began a "tidy up wax" she slapped on way too much wax on my eye brow/eyelid to the point of it dripping down my face and neck and she had to wax it off from the corner of my eye. The wax was a lot warmer that I've had before and she didn't check the temperature until it was on my face. I told her it was warm but ok. She then waxed it off but must have missed some and re-applied hot wax on the newly waxed area which caused it to burn. This was very painful. I told her to turn the heat down and asked for someone who was trained to finish the job. She said ok but continued to finish the job herself, so she didn't listen to me. As a result of this I refused to pay for my wax treatment. After this I was told I was the woman's first client and in my opinion I should be told this before hand as some people would like a trained beautician. The person in charge said I could have it for free but insisted I pay for the tint, which was a poor job also and not what I asked for. When I told the person in charge that I refused to pay for this she not only threatened me in front of the other customers that she would phone the police but also tried to get the other customers involved and did not listen to me when I told her my face was burnt. She was adamant that it was just red from the wax. She even blocked me from the door so that I couldn't leave. As a result of all of this, I have left (paying just £4 of the £10 it was originally going to cost me) with a burnt eyebrow that seems to be getting worse. I think they do a great job on nails but terrible job on eye brows. No one in that place is properly trained. I suggest looking around the area for another salon. Read Less
