My nail shape has been changed, one of my nails isn't even a shape its square one corner then round the other corner, one of the nails has that much acrylic on that it looks like a tear drop shape as its falling over the sides.
I was then told £26 at the end, and no card. So was left running to the shop with no cash machine that she suggested I went to while I left my phone on their counter. Then i had to find a local post office to withdraw money. I paid the £26 because I was worked on for nearly an hour just for infill and do not like confrontation. The whole time all I wanted to do was wash my hands, all on the counter and where you rest your hands was full of shavings from the previous client, i had to put my hands on the counter and i raised them so i wasn't touching the counter when drying in the lamp. She also used the same brush to brush the shavings off the counter and then onto my hands to brush my hands, even though those shavings weren't even mine. the whole experience was just filthy, i wasn't offer to wash my hands after either and lefvt with shavings on my skin.

Shocking experience - nobody spoke English except the very rude, male receptionist so they couldn't understand what I wanted. Made a disgusting mess of my nails but I didn't know it at the time as it was my 1st time having my nails done. I only went because I won a voucher in a raffle & would never go back. Since discovered many better nail salons in Lincoln.

I have used the nail fairy for many years and can honestly say that they have always done a brilliant job of my nails. I am never disappointed.

I have used nail fairy a few times. They are the cheapest in Lincoln and you can almost guarantee that the nails extentions do not come off or break. Which is great. The great service stops there really. They speak very little english and make very little effort to communicate. Personally this doesn`t bother me. If i come out with a nice set of nails , That last, then ive got what i paid for. If you want a relaxing , chatty , pampering experience, The Nail Fairy definately isn`t for you. It is hard to explain to them exactly what you want. I asked for the natural coloured extensions as the white tip extensions they seem to stick far too low down your nail and it looks silly and all white and no pink. You can always have the white tips painted on at the end at no extra cost and they look much more elegant and less DIY. I asked for Gel and i think i got acrylic, but to be honest all nail extensions wreck your nails.Even the BIO-GEL nails that ive paid £40+ for at beauty salons wreck my nails. When your natural nail is covered up for any length of time with no air etc getting to it ,its bound to suffer. Basically... In a nutshell.. The nail fairy are cheap, not cheerful, but the nails are good and hard wearing. I will definately go back. But not for the pampering or great conversation. :-)

WARNING DO NOT use this salon. My daughter and i used this salon today and both bitterly regret it, i paid £60.00 for both sets, i asked for GEL not acrylic i repeated this request three times as i cannot tolerate acrylic and it wrecks your nail bed, i was assured all three times the product they were using was gel this was a total lie they used acrylic which i am now stuck with until monday as i have a wedding tomorrow in London, (the sole purpose for me having my nails done.) It was a young man who did my nails he spoke only a little english so it was difficult to make him inderstand what i wanted as a pattern, he cut two of my fingers open with his nails as he forced them down the side of my finger to force the glue off my skin, he never apologised or showed any remorse just carried on regardless of my bleeding finger, they cut my daughters far too short and they look silly, the overall finish is awful the nails are different lengths and all my fingers are painful and sore. I would only recommend a very wide berth i wish i had read a review first i am now mortified and out of pocket i have been advised not to upset them or ask for a refund as they can get aggresive, so i have to chalk this one up to a bad experience.

Shocking experience - nobody spoke English except the very rude, male receptionist so they couldn't understand what I wanted. Made a disgusting mess of my nails but I didn't know it at the time as it was my 1st time having my nails done. I only went because I won a voucher in a raffle & would never go back. If i come out with a nice set of nails , That last, then ive got what i paid for. If you want a relaxing , chatty , pampering experience, The Nail Fairy definately isn`t for you.
