I came here as they had been recommended by friends but it was genuinely one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered. As my nails were shorter than normal I opted to get acrylics as Christmas and NYE was coming up and I wanted them to look nice for the occasion. As I was sat waiting I was speaking to another customer who I assumed had acrylics too, having never had them before I was asking her questions about them and what the experience was like, she told me she hadn't got them from here as she 'knew what they were like' but her mum was currently getting hers done - this should have been my first warning. Upon initially coming in I was asked what I wanted and when I explained acrylics with shellac I was simply met with 'that's more' when I asked how much, as prices on the board seem to be incorrect, I was just told to take a seat. When other customers had finally left, I was barked into a seat. After a few questions I was finally told the price and asked the shape I wanted, fine. When the tips were put on, cut and filed however they weren't straight, something I pointed out and was told 'will be sorted later' well, later never came did it. The shape I requested too was rounded which again, never happened. Instead I was greeted with flipper shaped nails, possibly the nicest way I could explain them. When I asked if they could be shaped better I was shut down saying that was what I'd asked for, when I again persisted and said they weren't rounded enough I then had a rather aggressive attempt at rounding them which left me with cuts underneath my nails which in turn became very sore anytime I touched my nails. The man who was doing my nails never asked how I felt about them at the end because he could see the look of upset on my face, stupidly through sheer embarrassment I ended up paying for them and leaving. By this point I felt if I challenged anything else I would be shouted at so left completely distraught and unhappy. After going home and speaking to friends who have had acrylics done they urged me to go back the next day and either get my money back or get the room removed - preferably both. I arrived at 9.30 the next morning and when they saw me, I wasn't even asked what I wanted. After about 30 minutes of standing at their door I was asked what I was there for, I began explaining that the quality of what I got wasn't what I wanted and I wanted either my money back or them taking off. I was told I wouldn't get any money back AND I would have to pay for the removal - the absolute cheek of it! I continued to explain that I wouldn't be leaving until I had either them taken off for free or a refund as they had completely ruined something that was meant to be a nice treat and they still refused. After asking to speak to a manager I was ignored and again told I would get nothing. After almost and hour of standing and explaining I wasn't leaving until I had one of my requests I was finally barked into one of the back seats. I had to again wait for another half an hour, in which time I saw customers with appointments get ignored OVER walk in customers, before they were finally removed. Even on removal they dug so far into my nails that over a month later I have ridges on every nail. Overall this is a place that is more interested in getting people in and straight back out rather than giving any customer care or attention. I was surprised to see even simple manicures were all over the place. If you want good service, quality nails and somewhere you can rely on - avoid this at all costs!
