Used these for a while till I had a couple of bad experiences. Often made my fingers sore as they're very rough. One woman pushed my hand right up to the lamp and the acrylic got so hot it was burning my fingers! Asked for the same shape I already had on (coffin) and ended up with a horrid rounded tip! I have been going to Hollywood Nails now for around 3-4 years and have always left with a stunning set of nails.. I recently had a change and went elsewhere as the price of gel polish on infills was getting a bit pricey, but after a few bad experiences elsewhere, I went back to Hollywood Nails and left feeling so much happier! Awful! I used to go here all the time and never had a problem but today oh my word, was just awful beyond belief! Would never ever go back, has got to be the worse set of acrylics I have ever had! Sorry for the long winded story but thought it was definitely worth the mention! - I didn't know Hollywood nails existed until I had a nail disaster somewhat over a week ago!.. I had my nails done in another nail salon (acrylic/shellac) in preparation for my wedding the following day and paid £60 for the privilege (I shan't name any names, although perhaps I should) but I didn't leave happy with perfect and beautiful pre-wedding nails as I had hoped!. Instead, I was in desper...ation in finding somewhere that could now rectify my disgusting and overpriced, horrendous looking "wedding" nails!. Not only was it a shoddy acrylic, they were thick, too long and uneven, the paint job was horrendous, and my cuticles cut, sore and bleeding!..Hollywood nails came highly recommended from a local beautician after scouring the streets in find of somewhere that could help me, and fast, and I set about getting there ASAP, and I'm so glad I did!.. They took me in (no appointment necessary - also bearing in mind this was over the Easter bank holiday weekend so everywhere was busy) and dealt with me so efficiently and needless to say very professionally!. They could clearly see my upset and desperation!..The guys and girls sat me down, looked over my horrendous nails and after only 20 minutes, having helped choose the right colour, and everything else that entailed - my nails were pre-wedding beautiful! (As they should have been in the first place)!. For that I Thank you guys very much!! I love this nail bar! I've had my nails done (shellac, gel & acrylic) many many times and I keep going back here! It lasts the longest! My OPI has been on for 3 weeks now and only today has one nail chipped very slightly. Love the cards they do; buy 6 get one free. also, toe nail extensions are BRILL! Get yourself down there.
