I told myself I wouldn't leave a review unless my gel mani chipped before the two week mark. Not only has my mani chopped, but the vast majority of the polish on my toes is gone now too...ONE WEEK after getting them done. Got there five minutes before our (me and my moms) appointment. There was only one woman there, and when we arrived (5:25 for a 5:30 appt), she was just starting the manicure of the woman before us. Which then also became a hair and eyebrow appt. After about... 35 mins, she let us come sit at the pedicure chairs with our feet in the water. The water was almost too hot for me at first, but was cold by the time she made it to us. There was no massage, no lotion, minimal work on the nails themselves. I asked for Mickey Mouse on my toe and showed her a picture. The Mickeys on my toes were fine, but left a bunch of empty space which I asked her to fill in with polka dots. She decided to make the dots into a heart and then three random ones. Looked ROUGH, but at this point, the woman for the next appointment was already there as well as the woman for the appointment after her. Moved on to the gel mani. Again, rushed, no work put in, didn't push back cuticles or really trim them at all, didn't paint anywhere near the cuticles which makes my nails look like they've been growing out for a month, not a week, because of how much space between the nail and cuticle. Again, asked for Mickey on the accent nail. The Mickeys on my fingers...not good. I'll put the pictures and you tell me. I see a bunny and Winnie the pooh. Overall, my mom and I spent over $115, and both of us left VERY disappointed. Go anywhere but here. Ver mais

Horrible experience!! I travelled 30 miles to the nail salon since I had purchased a Groupon. Once there, she refused to honor the deal because I was not a new customer. I showed her that the fine print clearly said "Can be repurchased every 30 days" and she said it was my problem with Groupon, not hers. Very disappointed in this business

I had speedy service! Kim and her ladies did a great job. Great deal and excellent wax! We walked in at 5:45 (closed in 15 minutes - thought it was 8:00pm) and Kim did not bat an eyelash and didn't rush us! Really appreciate her service and definitely has a customer for life!

I got my nails done yesterday and I am so happy with the way they turned out. My students went the day before and they were raving about their experience. I was on a time crunch and they got me done very quickly, yet my manicure was impeccably done. They ladies worked together to provide a great experience for all of the women that were getting their nails done at that time. I will be visiting them again very soon.

So after reading reviews I was a bit adamant about this place and I had my guard up upon walking in. After coming in and getting immediately sat down to be taken care of yes she was offering additional services but it's on you whether you accept them or not. She was very knowledgeable as well as a great conversationist. The pedicure and my gel manicure was great and I even brought my daughter back the following day to get a snowflake and snowman on her tiny little nails so I will definitely be revisiting this place.

I love my nails hair cut and hi light. Facial waxing. I had the work done. And I really love it. Kim and her staffs Amanda Lauren Sophia and alma are so great. Prices are great. So reasonable. Very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. My hair look fantastic.

If I could give this salon ZERO stars I would. Hands down the WORST gel manicure I have ever received. I should have trusted my instincts. When I first walked into the salon there was a client who just finished a pedicure that needed to be fixed. Not a good sign. The owner has a pushy attitude and rushed my French gel manicure. She did not soak my hands to soften the cuticles or even massage the hands. Instead she used the electric filer on my natural nails that you would use when blending in acrylic tips. She told me to "rinse" not wash my hands with soap. She puts way too much gel shellac on my nails, which made them look clumpy, sloppy with white uneven tips. Yikes! If you want a messy manicure, Java is the way to go! Stay far away!!

Attitude is everything! The fact is if we look hard enough, we can always find a reason to complain. Another fact is that the world we live in is far from perfect but when you have a nail tech/cosmetologist/business owner... An everyday person who aims to please and takes pride in everything they do, you look pass searching for things to complain about or beyond imperfections and you find more reasons to be grateful. That is how I feel whenever I visit Java Hair and Nails. I'm so grateful for the atmosphere that's set, the service that's given, the conversations had, the feeling of friendship/family that's made and gained, and the extra mile that Kim has gone beyond for me and my family! That's just it.... I feel awesome after a visit there!

I told myself I wouldn't leave a review unless my gel mani chipped before the two week mark. Not only has my mani chopped, but the vast majority of the polish on my toes is gone now too...ONE WEEK after getting them done. Got there five minutes before our (me and my moms) appointment. There was only one woman there, and when we arrived (5:25 for a 5:30 appt), she was just starting the manicure of the woman before us. Which then also became a hair and eyebrow appt. Horrible experience!! I travelled 30 miles to the nail salon since I had purchased a Groupon. Once there, she refused to honor the deal because I was not a new customer. I got my nails done yesterday and I am so happy with the way they turned out. My students went the day before and they were raving about their experience. I was on a time crunch and they got me done very quickly, yet my manicure was impeccably done. They ladies worked together to provide a great experience for all of the women that were getting their nails done at that time. I will be visiting them again very soon.

So after reading reviews I was a bit adamant about this place and I had my guard up upon walking in. After coming in and getting immediately sat down to be taken care of yes she was offering additional services but it's on you whether you accept them or not. She was very knowledgeable as well as a great conversationist. The pedicure and my gel manicure was great and I even brought my daughter back the following day to get a snowflake and snowman on her tiny little nails so I will definitely be revisiting this place.

Attitude is everything! The fact is if we look hard enough, we can always find a reason to complain. Another fact is that the world we live in is far from perfect but when you have a nail tech/cosmetologist/business owner... An everyday person who aims to please and takes pride in everything they do, you look pass searching for things to complain about or beyond imperfections and you find more reasons to be grateful. That is how I feel whenever I visit Java Hair and Nails. I'm so grateful for the atmosphere that's set, the service that's given, the conversations had, the feeling of friendship/family that's made and gained, and the extra mile that Kim has gone beyond for me and my family!
