I’ve been going to Lilly’s for nearly 2 years now (since I moved to Maidstone) and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. I started off with gels but after seeing the results of others I tried SNS and never looked back! The banter in this place is great and I never fail to laugh when I come in. If you don’t have a sense of humour or can’t take banter then I would suggest you go elsewhere I have just started boxing so had to get Lilly to cut off my lovely long nails but I’m not worried AT ALL as if I want long nails again, it will only take 2-3 months for them to grow long again using SNS. I started going there not long after christmas and I must say the girls are amazing. :) I went from acrylics to SNS in just a couple of months and my nails are as strong as ever. Saddens me to leave a bad review after being a loyal customer for a year but after numerous apt’s of being kept waiting even though I had booked apt and arrived early then to turn up to a appt yesterday at 10am to wait outside the shop for 10 mins,still no sign of anyone I am beyond disappointed And angry,all the girls whom have done my nails are lovely but recently I feel like instead of quality pampering my visits feel more like I’m on a conveyer belt and the girls are trying to get to much done all at once. I had tried numerous nail shops in Maidstone before Lilly's opened and they was nothing compared to Lilly's. I go there everytime without fail. It's so relaxed and all the workers know how to have a laugh with there customers!! People that find them rude are to vanilla and to boring to be going here. I have never had a problem with my nails and everyone I know that gets there nails done goes here. They also have never had a problem with there nails!!! I love this salon it’s got everything a girl could want who loves there nails !! Iv searched 16 months for a good nail bar in the whole of Maidstone and can say iv been to every salon!! And this is the BEST! There’s So many colours! In Gels, polish and the most SNS iv ever seen !! The nail design I’s awesome and I was spoilt for choice!! No one even came close to this place when I found it ... the staff are absolutely lovely there such nice people and the quality of the nails they do is amazing !!! I've been to Lillys nails a few times and unfortunately i would have to say I wouldnt go back. I found the girls to be working there very rude and the owner rude too. Felt very uncomfortable and not welcome. This was the first time I had been here. I put it down to the fact they hadn't been running for very long. So I gave it another go a few months later and still nothing had changed very rude and not welcoming . Also felt like I was being rushed out as my nails were still wet and very ruff. I moved to Maidstone just under a year ago. Wanted to find a lovely nail shop like the one I have been going to for years where I lived before , I tried a few nail shops in Maidstone that were not great . Lillys are amazing, the nails last and the acrylic is natural not to thick just how I like them...so pleased and will keep going back. I would highly recommend Lillys a lovely family owned business. I don't like to leave bad review's but do feel like this one is justified. I came in two weeks ago to have my acrylic overlays infilled with gel polish. The lady that did it obviously isn't that experienced but took the time to make them nice. Within 3-4 days they had chipped. I called in and was given an appointment the next weekend to have them redone which they did. But unfortunately they have chipped again after a couple of days, I always have gel and it always lasts 2-3 weeks with no chips what so ever. So either the gel polish is very poor quality or the lady hasn't got enough experience maybe both, either way an unhappy customer. Read Less

The staff then spoke very loudly and arrogantly about my friend! My friend laughed it off and she continued to be incredibly rude by saying 'she's not even listening to me!'. I then paid and left the shop and realised my nails looked terribly painted and weren't all the same length! I found the sign on the wall 'don't be a tight arse, tip your nail tech' extremely inappropriate! I've never received such terrible service in my life and I'm extremely angered by my experience here! I've been here on two occasions and the waiting time is unbelievable. Staff are rather slow and can't care less if others are waiting which can get rather annoying. Seems like this with most Asian nail shops but when you direct them to do your nails in a certain way they automatically get offended and just start saying all sorts in their own language to one another thinking we don't understand that they are chatting about it.
