I’ve been going to manhattan for a while for my acrylics, and I’m never one to write a bad review and I have given so many chances to the staff at manhattan, but it has to be said, the service i’ve recieved is appalling! The gentleman that works here criticises my nails every time I come in, to the point where I have had to walk out today 2 minutes after sitting down to get a new set, I waited over an hour to be seen, sat down and he began ripping off my acrylics with nail clippers! I’m not a nail expert, but i’m pretty sure acrylics have to be soaked off! Not only was I in pain, but I was so upset and embarrassed by his comments about how disgusting my nails were that i had to leave! My nails are now damaged due to the acrylic being ripped off. I’ve previosuly had experiences were I’ve booked an appointment only to still be waiting an hour later than i was due to be seen, as well as staff constantly sitting on the phone talking whilst doing your nails, and switching between customers. They’ll sit 4 people down, start off one persons nails, then move to the next when they haven’t finished the first, meaning you have no choice but to wait, or leave with half done nails! Read Less
