Complete lack of professionalism. I had applied to two apprenticeships and managed to secure an interview for one of the apprenticeships. Here I am, approximately two months later, without an apprenticeship and without any sort of communication from TNB. Firstly, I had arrived at my interview half an hour early, and completed all the necessary documents and forms before the time I had to go in for the actual interview. This didn't seem to matter, apparently, as I was waiting... to be interviewed for almost two hours. Other people who had appeared after my arrival, somehow, got to be interviewed first, including at my interview time slot! I wasn't given any sort of explanation as to why I had not been interviewed, which is appalling. For future reference, there needs to be more than one interviewer. As well as that, a more suitable and appropriate venue for an interview should be required. To be quite honest, having an interview in a beauty salon is not at all professional. Naturally, after my interview, I was told that I would hear back from TNB within two to four weeks. And so... I waited. And waited. And waited. Now, here I am. There wasn't even a response to say that I had not got the apprenticeship! Even some communication to say my endeavours had failed, is much better than no reply at all. After this ludicrous and asinine experience I have, quite honestly, been put off from wanting to apply to any apprenticeships. Had an amazing time doing my level 2 beauty therapy course. My tutors Sophia and Louise are very helpful and fun and I always feel supported when doing my work and practical stuff. I am very eager to stay on and do level 3 beauty therapy and level 2 nails. Read Less

Had to travel over an hour away to come here for a interview for an apprenticeship when the employer was only a 1 min drive from my house, when i got there got asked to fill out forms and told me i had to get my phone out at rate them a 5 star!!! They said they will get back to me within 2 weeks i rang twice after 2 weeks and they said they would call me the next day and never did. Then took nearly 2 months to get back to me to tell me that i didnt have enough experience even know I studied the course at college. Waste of time Read Less

My son embarked on this programme with TNB back in August, after looking at different options available and really wanting an apprenticeship, he enrolled here. The company are excellent, always make you feel welcome and the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel safe, secure and welcome. I can't thank them enough for the help, support and encouragement they have given my son. Without their support he would of ended up just going to college and doing a cou...rse he has no interest in, all because he has to stay in education. This way round with TNB, you learn many skills that you need to become an employee. Going on the traineeship programme was also so beneficial for both employer and student. Learning the skills in a role first to see if this is the direction you would like to go.
