The lady who did my nails did not understand what I requested - even after her colleague showed her. Instead she then rushed to finish - exchanged what were negative comments in another language. I went here just because it was there and they had space. Wish I hadn’t bothered. I got a set of acrylics that took flipping ages. First I got what appeared to be a traineee who couldn’t even take off nail polish. I should’ve walked out right then when she started trying to scrape it off my nails!! Finally someone bothered to take over to fit my acrylics, he actually made my nail bed bleed he filed so hard. No apology or anything. Now I’ve had them taken off just a week later, my nails are ruined. Don’t use this place, clearly they’re not using good products. Booked an appointment for 1pm and had to wait for half an hour for someone to start my manicure as they had over booked. The lady kept saying 10 more minutes instead of just being honest. When someone did start my manicure they rushed the service doing a very bad job. All my nails are diferent lengths and not a round shape as I had requested. Very ugly and stubby! I kept coming back to this place as it’s convenient for me but after the experience I had today this will be the last time. It seems like every time I get my nails done here atleast one breaks off in less than a week and I have to come back and spend an extra fiver per nail to get it fixed. I came back today to get my nail fixed, I did book an appointment as I thought that would mean I could go in without waiting and come straight out, boy was I wrong! Not only did I have to wait but I had to watch as everyone else got service before me even though I had booked an appointment, when questioned the receptionist had no answer for me as to why I was left sitting there for over half an hour. On top of that they’ve decided today that they’re going to charge me £7 for the broken nail instead of the usual £5. The nails are always of low standard, and it’s way overpriced at almost £10 more expensive than any other nail salon. Save the hassle and spend your money elsewhere! Read Less

I have visited the Nail spa on the 1st July having a my hands and feet done for my holiday by Wednesday the 5 th July my nails has started to chip off not even 7 days and didn't last I have payed for shellac which the have advertised and they have used Gellish polish instead of Shellac polish went back and they have offered to do one nail you have a laugh they started talking in the language which I have found that's very rude to talk in front of your clients their own language when in the mean time they all talk English. The manager have said to me I should have come back within the 7 days to fix it my answer was how could I have come when I was in cyprus when I told him would you like to see the picture I took and it's saying the day he said no it's ok he didn't want to see as it knows the whole situation was all done terrible I do not recommend anyone going there I've read the reviews myself but I thought it's not true and gave it a go but it's all true this reviews people have put down I have experience this myself TRADING STANDARD WILL BE INFORMED FOR USING DIFFERENT PRODUCTS TO WHAT THEIR ADVERTISING Read Less

Dreadful experience. They did a rotten job of my nails - my thumb nail chipped as soon as I got home. the rest lasted under a week. Very accomodating did not need to book. I got Shellac done. Overall technique wasn't good, rough Shellac removal damaging the nail which made the nail uneven. Nail drill used to smooth, which is too harsh on the natural nail also. Asked for pointed shape but my nails weren't long enough. So went for square shape and shorten the length, just a quick shape not all square with a dirty nail file. The therapist answered the phone during and her hair was in my Shellac nail several times despite bringing her attention to it. She also went to another client and back to me without cleaning her hands. The UV light machine was not clean either, overall no health and safety standards. Nails actually looked okay but not good enough for a professional service. Will return to my usual salon. Read Less

I have been to Zen a few times now and their gel nails are incredible! Not only do they always look perfect, but the gel doesn't chip and my nails won't break for a month! As a stage performer, the ability to not be worried about my nails chipping or breaking is invaluable. I recently took my mother and sister in for a girls day leading up to my wedding and the ladies did such a lovely job of pampering us and making sure we looked perfect for the day. If I were to make one critique it is that they are often overbooked, so adding more staff or spreading out appointments would be helpful to lowering wait times and allowing the staff to not have to split their attention.
