I've been going here for years to get acrylic nails and it now forms part of my fortnightly weekend routine. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and if you're not happy with the service Nikki (the owner) will do what she can to make sure you leave happy. The costs aren't expensive and while I could probably get higher quality nails somewhere else, I feel respected as a long term customer and they turn a blind eye if I need to have a few nails replaced when I'm having infills. It's sometimes mad busy with customers coming in for hair appts, massages, sun tanning, nails and eyelashes/brows, but Nikki creates a fun atmosphere so it never feels hectic. Very disappointed with my Shellac manicure, the staff seem friendly enough but the quality of the finish is awful. The varnish didn't even cover the whole nail with gaps at the sides. I haven't had a manicure before so wasn't sure at the time if that was normal. 5 days on and 2 of the nails have peeling varnish and there are massive gaps all around the nails. I booked this as a treat but now need to go to another salon and pay again to get it removed and redone. I will never return to this salon. Read Less

I am a busy working girl and went in last Tuesday when I had time after work to go get my nails done as I had an event on the weekend. The nail guy was in the shop alone and I asked if he was okay to do my nails as o was aware it was after 5 and usually ships shut at this time. He then proceeded to rush through the acrylic set and had left me with irregular nails on both hands I expressed my disappointment however he went on to tell me he needed to get on with it because he had to catch a train. I wanted a faded french tip so he decided to air brush the design and it is aweful. I called into the salon the next day as I was unhappy with the result and he had left acrylic on my skin around my nails and one was already lifting. I was told that the manager wasn't in and to come in on Saturday to speak with the manager I explained to the lady on the phone I wouldn't be able to come as I had an event on Saturday so she took my number and said they would call back. During the event my thumb nail embarrassingly broke off. I called again into the salon on Monday to see if I could speak to someone senior to help me deal with this and all I got from the man on the phone was a he's not here and he slammed the phone down. So I decided to go to the nail bar on my lunch break on Tuesday to see if I could speak to someone who would deal with me more professionally. All I got was a woman doing hair saying she doesnt do nails and an Indian girl at the counter looking like she was trying to stifle a laugh while she took down my number and took a picture of my nails. She then went on to tell me her manager would be in the next day (Wednesday) and to come in on my lunch break. I called the next day to see if I could come down to get them taken off as they're coming off anyways and to get a refund because I have had it. A gentleman answered the phone and I asked if I could speak with the manager he said he wasn't here and put the phone down on me. I called again because I couldn't quite believe someone would conduct themselves like that whilst on the phone to a potential customer at work. I called again an a upon hearing my voice he put the phone down. I suspect it was the nail guy as he had a thick Chinese accent. At this point I really I felt like I was getting no where so I called again and I spoke to a lady and asked if the manager was in she was like is it about your nails I said yes she went on to tell me he wasn't in and she was going to get him to call me back as soon as he got in. Appalling customer service and poor quality treatments. Booked in with a friend for a french manicure on hands and feet, plus a facial and eyebrow threading. Firstly we were told we couldn't have gel french manicures because it 'wouldn't look good', only airbrush polish. We eventually convinced them to try the gel but they put the airbrush polish on first then very wobbly edged gel white tips over the top with no gel base coat so it has all chipped the next day as standard polish would. They also cut all my nails really short below the end of my fingers without asking which is ridiculous as they knew I wanted a french manicure so there was no space for the white tips to be applied. My friend then went to have her facial, but no sooner had she gone in the treatment room she was ushered back out and 2 walk-in customers went in for a 'quick' eyebrow wax. My friend was then told there wasn't enough time for her to have a her full 30min facial so only got a quick exfoliation. Don't waste your time or money going to this place. Nikki the manager is one of the most lovely people i have met, Nothing like having your nails done, and having a good old chat and much laughter. She has just had a lovely baby girl called Heidi.
