My mum and I went here 3 weeks ago and a lady that was 'meeting and greeting' people was possibly the rudest person in a customer service role I have ever come across. She rushed us through not giving us a chance to choose our colours and then gave my mum a colour she hadn't chosen that was all watered down and sticky when it went on. My mum politely said I don't like that one can I choose a colour please and the woman snatched it off the counter and said well why agree to have it if you don't like it! She took over from the nice girl that was painting my mum's nails and was really rough with her and did an awful job. Not even meeting the edges. On top of that my mum still didn't like the colour because the woman would not give her the time to pick what she wanted. I have never experienced such an aggressive service. They treat you like a number on a factory line not at all like the luxurious experience having your nails should be. We used to use 5 star nails religiously every month for many years and left because another nail bar was more convenient. Our usual nail bar was fully booked that day so that's why we returned to 5 star nails. Never again! Save your money, terrible nails and even more appalling service! Shouldn't be in business. Unfriendly staff with bad attitude . Not welcoming at all . They talk in their own language makes you feel like they talk about you . And it's None stop. I cannot believe I stayed there without walking out that day . They need super training in customer service . Read Less

Great little salon, I never book, but to drop in and wait you never have to wait too long really, nails are always done well, I always opt for the same colour because of work though sometimes have some nail art done by Saj, more like a nail master, his work is insane! Read Less

Writing on here because people only seem to leave reviews if they've got something bad to say! I've never had a bad experience, in my opinion this is the best nails place in Hertfordshire, my nails are always well shaped, their range of colours is excellent, and they always last about 6 weeks! APPAULING! Not even worth 1*....The guy fitted my acrylic nails and cut them before even asking me if they were the length I wanted...then when I said I wanted them longer he started screaming at the top of his voice in his own language that I couldn't understand to his colleague next to him as if it were my fault...he then carelessly buffered my nails and did so in such an aggressive manor I yelled with pain!....he didn't even finish my nails.....I was so polite and smiley and did not expect this level of service at all!!...I spoke with the manager at the end and he didn't even seem apologetic at all...and he still expected me to pay full price..if that's how they treat their paying customers I hate to think how they treat animals. They should be ashamed of themselves...the irony that its called 5* nails.....I went home and painted them and filed them myself since your NON-ENGLISH speaking worker didn't even do them properly.
