in the last week Iv'e never been more infuriated than I was when I left this place. First, I get a pedicure with no massage. All he did is rub on the lotion and wiped them down with a hot towel. Next, I wanted to get my nails dipped. I have had them dipped several times before so I know what they are suppose to look like when they are done. 3.5 hours later I leave with a bleeding finger, clear coat all over my hands and phone because he kept spilling it, and then after he was done filing my nails down he turns on the fan to "dry" them and blows nail dust all in my face and in my eyes. My nails look like they were done my 2 year old. Also, being a cosmologist, I was very well aware he was not doing things in a sanitary way. I should of just left after the terrible pedicure. This isn't any ordinary nail salon, you're not on a conveyor belt around the room. From the moment you arrive you're made to feel special. You're greeted, offered refreshments, you know the name of the therapist doing your treatment, it smells nice, there is no drilling or staff wearing masks, the music is calming and the chairs are comfortable. The lady next to me fell to sleep! How relaxed can you be!? My nails have never looked better, I just wish I could have the nail art done, they're so talented. I love the ethos of this salon, sure! Went in on my lunch break about a month ago for a polish change. The man who took me back was super rude and got up MULTIPLE times to start on other customers. Every 30 seconds it seemed like he was getting up and talking to someone or doing someone else nails, plus he was on his cell phone the entire time. It took over an hour for a polish change. Once he finally finished, the matte polish was not evenly applied, which looked horrible, he missed all the edges of multiple nails. When I brought it to his attention he huffed and acted like I was asking him to re-paint the Sistine Chapel. He told me to pay then I'd have to wait a few minutes before he could get back with me. Been there twice and the second time was a lot different! They said the wine wasn't complimentary during happy hour, even though that's the only time I have been there is during happy hour! Very rude ppl! The manager was doing my nails and his next appointment walked in so he told me to hang on a minute while he got started on her,then he came back didn't clean under my nails and rushed through finishing them. Then when I went to pay they tried charging me $20 extra, I had to argue with them and they eventually apologized and said it was their mistake! I am so beyond disappointed with this place. I have been coming here for awhile now and I have never had a problem . Yesterday I brought in 4 friends to all get manicures and pedicures. When I walked in no one greeted me . I sat on the couch for 20 minutes waiting with my cousin. She got taken back so I sat there for another 10 mins while two people walked in after me got taken back. I finally told the young girl hey I'm here waiting also.... she ignored me. Finally another g...irl came and sat me down . The girl who started doing my nails was super rude. She was grabbing my hands and she cut my finger and put something that burnt on my finger without even asking me if I wanted it . I wanted a sparkly polish and she was like oh it's clear and she wanted me to pick another color. This was the color I wanted so why make me pick something else ?! Also my friend asked about the free wine because it has always been free to my knowledge. This lady was trying to charge him 5$ ! She said oh it's because happy hour when he planned on also getting a pedicure which was not on happy hour . I got so frustrated with how she was treating me and how rude she was that I just left and made my friend pay the 5$ just to have my shellac partially taken off and this cut on my finger. What a beautiful and relaxing nail boutique. Not like ALL the others, this is FUME free and very classy. Very good range and value for money . I had my nails done here by Rachel .
