Very disorganised, even with me making an appointment the guy doing my nails took another walk-in customer and was working on both our nails at the same time! Used to go here all the time until my friend told me that I go too often ... it was only Then I realised my nails were only lasting a week max! I now go somewhere else and they last 2 weeks minimum so it must've been the place and not me.. looking back everything is so rushed and things aren't cleaned properly I.e the pedicure section.. there's no customer service at all just grunts and quick ok's. Even when you call it's 'yes' or 'no' just doesn't make you feel welcome. Also the beautician... she would be disturbed from her lunch if you wanted a treatment instead of being told to come back in a bit.. meaning you'd get your eyebrows done whilst she was still chewing her food and she hadnt washed her hands so they still smelt of whatever she was eating and that was going on my face 🤢 Avoid!! Serena is AMAZING! Knows exactly what she is doing and will do exactly what you want done . She suggests other ideas that will suit you well and I loved her ideas! I never let anybody touch my hair and going in to her salon I was nervous but turned out I loved it when I left ! I WILL be going back when it's time ! Today was my first time at this salon. Serena is very knowledgeable about products & the chemistry involved. Very up to date on hair styling & coloring. I sought out this salon because of the use of organic products & an all natural developer. She only uses the top quality products and my hair looked very natural. It was very different from previous salons where the hair color was so full of chemicals that it took my breath away and burned my scalp. Organic/natural is the way for me! Serena is a magician. I went in with colored hair and roots showing and hair that might as well have been hay. It was my first time being here. Serena took the time to discuss my lifestyle, what I was looking for, etc. She didn't rush me to make a decision. I described what I was looking for and I walked out of there feeling like a MUCH different person. I 100% recommend her and I doubt I'll ever being going to anyone else for my hair needs. Read Less

I thought this place was good as they offer you a drink etc.. and don't rush. My mind was quickly changed when they used a drill to file off my shellac? File off most of my nail bed made them weak and took me 6 months to grow out. As a result I won't be going back as they are obviously not fully trained in nails. Read Less

I would highly advise anyone against this place. The staff does not speak or understand English, they are EXTREMELY rude and the quality is so and so. I highly doubt hygiene as well. To give you an idea, I didn't get any response when I popped in and said "Hello!" twice, I asked to pay before the manicure to avoid ruining afterwards and answer was NO, I asked for a cushion to support my back as I'm pregnant and answer was "NO"! Not even "sorry we don't have one" just NO. Then I was told that if I was in pain they could just "change my colour"?? Terrible service. First appointment - after waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time I finally got seated for my appointment for a gel manicure. The seating at nail bar is very awkward and uncomfortable. My nails looked great however the gel polish starting peeling off within 4 days. I followed up with the owner and she offered to redo them complimentary. This time the gel polish lasted two weeks however the polish choice I picked on the display was not the co...lor that I got. The color selection is very slim. Third visit - I purchased another Living Social deal to give Serena and the Beauty Lounge another opportunity. I scheduled my appointment at 1:30 and allowed for an hour and a half before I needed to leave for an interview. When making the appointment I noted that I needed to leave by 3pm. I arrived early and once again we Serena got started late. The manicure portion was terrible. She barely cleaned up my cuticles and the polish was not setting on my nails and after a hour I started to get nervous and voiced my concern. I asked if she could just paint them without the gel so that I could leave which she did poorly. I agreed to come back the following day to fix the problem. There was an ice storm the following day and Serena decided to cancel the salon so my appointment was automatically cancelled. I rescheduled for the following Tuesday - this is the next day she would be open. I got a call from Serena 15 minutes before my appointment to tell me she couldn't open the salon due to ice. What a joke - the ice was gone by Sunday. So today I set another appointment at 6pm and I even followed up with two text messages to the owner to make sure she would be able to do it at this day and time. She confirmed by text. I arrived today at 5:50 and the door was locked. I waited outside until 6:20 and Serena never showed up for my scheduled appointment. I called and texted and it is now 7pm and she still has not responded. I have been very kind and patient with Serena and the salon because i like to support small local businesses but clearly she does not respect her client's time. I will not go back.
