Amoré is beyond a beautiful salon, the exterior is one of my favourite buildings in Hitchin Town and is so welcoming, as is the inside and the staff are really friendly and warm. I’ve had many treatments and honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve been a client for quite a few years and Amoré will forever be my go to for a pamper! They also offer things like spiral bobbles, hair, nail and make up products and gift cards which often makes my gift giving super easy! I mostly have my eyebrows tinted and shaped by Yas, she is basically some kind of brow fairy and knows my brows better than I do so always makes them look amazing!! She also did me some incredible lashes for my wedding and they were that good they lasted all through my honeymoon too! She is such a warm and welcoming soul and I missed her face when she went off on maternity leave so it is so lovely to see her return. Rhea does my nails and as much as I shouldn’t leave it so long, she is so good they lasted me 5 weeks (and probably would have lasted longer) until I had the time to book in again for infills. Having a family makes it tough for me to find the time or money to book in but when I do I’m always looked after! Rhea is so lovely and you can have a really good chat with her, she’s one of those people that you could just sit down and unload everything onto (like when Elle desperately needs her nails doing in legally blonde and finds the super lovely lady in the beauty salon to unleash her life story - that’s the kind heart Rhea has) Rhea also did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I honestly have never felt more beautiful, She’s magic! I booked in with Debs recently for a luxury facial I was very lucky to be gifted by a friend and it was one of the most relaxing experiences I have ever had!! I genuinely felt I had been transported to Thailand and I highly recommend this as a gift or a treat to unwind. Debs is wonderful and such a kind, caring lady. She always stops and takes a moment to see how you are doing wether you are booked in or just popping in to book. Charlotte tackles my hair and again I always leave it far too long before I book in for important things like this! The poor love is greeted by a full on bush headed mombie (mum zombie) and quickly Edward scissorhands me back to an actual earth person. She’s a real chatty, chirpy chic and I think she’s fab! I had a very poor experience here. My hairdresser was Ellie. I asked for a light brown balayage, and I showed her a variety of pictures to make sure she understood what I wanted. Instead of a balayage, she used foils in my hair to give me very blonde highlights. She also dyed all of my hair a lighter brown, when I had asked her to keep my roots their natural colour. As well, I had asked for only a very mild trim because I was growing my hair out. She cut off at least 8"/20cm ...(I had recently measured my hair before going to the salon as 26"/65cm from my ear to the ends, and I just measured it right now as 18"/45cm). I didn't exactly have time to stop her because what she did was grab all my hair in her hand at the back, and then she just cut off the ends while they were like that. Then she styled it. Before I left I did tell her this wasn't what I wanted and explained why. She tried to help fix it by putting toner in my hair, which ended up making it an even lighter brown, and the highlights were still very blonde. I'm a pansy and don't like confrontation. I had acrylics and colour with Millie yesterday, and she was fantastic as always. She is a great asset to Amore and I love coming here as a treat. Fabulous nails and she knows exactly what colour I like every time I visit. She also provides honest advice and I would most definitely recommend that everyone comes here for their treatments. I’ve recently started to get acrylics done by Rhea. My first set lasted 4 weeks before I felt that I need infills. Amoré has a lovely atmosphere and makes you feel extremely welcome. The price is more than reasonable as i’d choose good quality and a relaxing experience over cheaper prices anyway. Highly recommend! Read Less

Highly recommend Amore Salon, first time in for my hair, brows and nails. Fantastic team, Ellie is a professional, my hair is thick and wild but she gave an excellent cut, couldn't be happier! I can not rave on about this salon enough. The standard of excellence and care has made me a lifelong customer. I now live out of the area but travel back to Hitchin to have all my beauty and hair treatments. I am a natural brunette, but Ellie the colourist has turned me blonde whilst looking after the condition of my hair expertly. Charlotte is a rare find, who cuts my hair exactly how I want it, understanding my vision and advising me honestly what will actually suit me. Yazmin has looked after my lashes for years and her team have given nothing but the best quality service. I’ve been using Amore for about a year now and Rhea always does a fantastic job on my nails. I’ve always wanted my own nails and have never been able to grow them but since going to Amore, Rhea has worked with me to grow my nails and I’m now in the process of moving away from tips to real nails with gel overlay!! Highly recommend Rhea if you would like your nails done!! On my last visit to Amore I’ve also started having an eyebrow tint and shape with Debs. Really pleased with my eyebrows - they look better than ever!! The staff were nice but don’t take the last appointment of the day.. you’ll only feel rushed out trying to pay and get your coat on and have to leave with wet nails which got ruined! Nearly £40 later for acrylics (way above average £ in the area) and for the first time ever my nail broke off within a week! Such a shame as the staff were friendly. Read Less

I honestly cannot recommend Amore Salon enough! I've been coming here for years now and have never been disappointed with the service I've received. It's almost embarrassing that I've never written a review because I'm in there all the time! Had a lovely hair treatment by Ellie. In a process of going from ombré to white blonde, and she looked after my root touch up and gave me heaps of great advice on what products to avoid and how to use purple shampoo most effectively etc. So helpful as I know going to white blonde is a huge job, she was more than happy to go above and beyond helping me. I couldn't recommend Amoré salon enough! The girls always take care of me, Debs is just the best at waxing! I felt so nervous for my first intimate waxing experience but Debs made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! I recently visited the salon to have a back, neck and shoulder massage with Laurence. I can honestly say it was one of the best massages I've had as I suffer from lower back problems. Laurence was very thorough in his initial assessment , asking me where I had issues and was able to relieve to tension in my back.
