Will not be going back. I waited half an hour after my appointment time before they started and then they rushed my nails so I now have loads of air bubbles under all the nails varnish. Looks like I have let my infant daughter do it for me. Not happy. Spent alot of money. Not impressed Read Less

I've been coming to Lisa's Nails for several months, after my technician moved from the previous nail bar where she was doing my nails. Obviously I'm very happy with her as a technician and really like the nail bar in Berkhamsted. Very restful environment, in my opinion, polite and welcoming team and for the same prices as previously paid in the Aylesbury Nail Bar. My daughter went to City Nails today to have her acrylic nails removed. The lady that did this made her fingers bleed and cut her fingernails way too deep on the corners and tonight she can't even touch water to them they hurt so bad. When she asked to soak them in acetone instead of prying them off the lady got an attitude and didn't want to do that. Read Less

I have been here twice already and intend to keep going. The price is very reasonable (£18 for infills and a regular polish which has lasted 3 weeks both times). I went to get my nails done ,to get the previous taken off which were a gelax manicure..I thought I'd give my nails a bit of a break as it damages them after a while.. and my middle finger seemed to have some sort of reaction from the previous one ,and had swollen up. I did report this to the nail technicians,but they didn't look to bothered ,anyway .. So I asked the nail technician for a manicure. I mean It's quite straight forward .so ,She started doing my nails but realised she was applying the tips first etc ,but not even filed them down straight ..then applied clear colour nail varnish ,and so you could see the damaged nail underneath and all the marks and scratches ,from the previous applicator, from the fake gel nails I had done before .. Really rushed . I was very surprised and obviously not happy when she was finished, so I asked the nail technicians "why it wasn't a 'proper ' manicure ",you know ,when you get the pink glossy finish and it looks lovely .. Well she said to me in quite an aggressive and rushed tone of voice., not to imply on her accent. ", no well no that would take too long ,it takes too long to do a manicure ." Baring in mind there was one other person in the nail shop.(not very busy )...ha And a nail technician basically refusing to do.a.manicure because it takes too long ..hmmm ,that's not very good . I was like ..right ,wow ,actually quite amused, but disgusted that I had to ,still pay at the end while walking out with damaged scratched up nails ,which just a thin coat of nail hardener (as the 'manicure 'that I got was taken off as it looked awful !)and the nail hardener was the finishing result !ha Read Less

I love the new dipping powder at City Nails! After two full weeks, it still looks perfect - no chips and just as shiny as day one! My nails are so thin that they never last two weeks, even with shellac. Thanks Kevin! Read Less

Will not ever go here again!! Was treated soo rudely for simply asking a question as to why our nails seemed to lift every time we got them done. We were told if we didn't like they way they did our nails then to go somewhere else. Mind you all we did was ask a question and said that we have not had this issue with others that have done our nails. She told us herself that it could be bad powder or the person that did our nails and that for every 10 sets they do 7 look like ours. If that's the case then there are several people that need to find a new salon. I have been getting my nails done for many years and have never been treated like that. They will not get my business ever again and I sure won't recommend them to anyone!! Read Less
