Without a doubt my favourite place to go to get my nails done, staff are super friendly and always do an amazing job. Tea is so lovely and chatty and is so good at doing different nail shapes and designs, would never go anywhere else in Southampton.

The service is quite good but they apply prices ad hoc yo the customers. Not real pedicure only the nails are done very quickly.

(Now called the nail shop Southampton) Worst acrylic nails I've ever seen or had done, bad shape, flat and painful. Now i have to go to another salon to remove it all and fix it. Offered no refund or remorse but got shouted at by the staff.

It would be kind to describe this experience as unsatisfactory. The one star is for the lady who was, at least, polite when the nails did not match the sample (at all). The lack of sequential stars is due to the younger girl who took over in order to re-do them. She removed the base coat while my friend chose another colour. She chose a chrome and was greeted with a huff when the girl stated, grumpily, that this colour required a black base coat anyway. After the rude delivery of this comment, and feeling the unnecessary need to defend ourselves, my friend said that the base coat would have needed to be removed anyway as some were smudged while others had swatches of glitter and foils from other previously attempted colours. We were met with another rude comment: 'No, I could have just taken that layer off...' I deemed this unnecessary rudeness so I stated that we clearly did not and could not have known this. She reluctantly said 'It's okay..' and did the chrome... Which looked okay under the light but is not very shiny in daylight and some nails have flaws. Thanks.

I previously wrote a review saying this place is great, however now that I have been a couple of times I can't say I would go here again. The staff always seem to be moody these days as soon as you walk through the door and they keep upping the price of my nails bit by bit. I even called them asking the price of something to have them add £6 in the shop after I had my nails done so couldn't even dispute!
They were so great to start with and super helpful but don't treat some repeat customers that great apparently? Shame cos I loved going here when they were more enthusiastic about keeping my business...

I have been going to Unique Nails for several months. Anne does my Gel polish and she is very professional. The choice of colours is great and the salon is super clean.
