Mixed feelings about this place. The man did a lovely job on my acrylics, however he chatted to me about things of a sexual nature, and asked me lots of personal and intimate questions such as “what birth control do you use”, and how often my partner and I have sex, as well as how long my partner lasts for throughout the treatment leading me to have serious doubts about this man’s true intentions. He also said I have a nice body as well as other inappropriate comments, to which I batted off and tried to ignore whilst changing the subject as I wasn’t interested in his advances whatsoever. At the start of the treatment he said I look very young and guessed I was 17. Although I’m 23, the fact he thought I was younger at the start makes it weird he had looked at my body (which, by the way was fully covered with my clothes!!) Overall I felt very very uncomfortable throughout but as he had already started my nails I felt as though I was pretty trapped so just changed the subject quickly. I understand the owners are a married couple, which sickens me more! But it was just me and the man in the salon when I first arrived and for the first half an hour of the treatment. And then his wife started work and he just stopped chatting completely!! I can’t be the only girl this has happened to, as men like this are usually very desperate and will prey on young girls. I’m posting this in the hopes it won’t happen again! My partner, who was understandably fuming when I told him about my experience also called up the salon to ask the guy if he things what he was saying to me was inappropriate, to which he tried to deny it all!! So hopefully he will stop and think about his actions. I’d also like to think he wouldn’t take things further but you never know, and I can’t deny he made me feel very uncomfortable and quite vulnerable.. So please be careful if going here, girls!
